I didn't even bother with the Hard version of the event. If I want a 5* Robin, I'll just get the feathers >_> My team is garbage against any magic users.

To be fair, my strongest and only 5* unit is Camilla and I just quit the match if I see a Takumi, or as happened today, two Takumis on a team. I'm not going to win that and I won't waste my time.

Camilla was in my second set of 5 pulls. I've spent around 70 orbs or so since then and haven't gotten another 5*. I'm holding onto the rest of my orbs for when some characters I really like are coming out.

I got a 5* Tiki in my second summon batch, and only got one other (Ryoma) like a week later. They were like 70 orbs apart, and they're still the only 5* units I have. I don't even know how to get the materials needed to upgrade a unit from 4* to 5*, since I apparently have none for any color.

Without rerolling and without spending money I have 5* Lyn, 5* Linde, 5* Takumi, 5* Kagero and most recently 5* Ephraim.

My green axe units suck ass though, I really need a Camilla or Hector.

Ryoma is the best red unit in the game right now. Marth is still very strong, but Ryoma is basically top unit.

That calculator is bad, some of the Attack stats I've seen are wayyyyyyy off. It's like they're including the weapon stats but fucked up.

iirc it's the value of the strongest weapon possible, it's also why when you roll a 4* to a 5*, it will show higher attack than you will get

edit: and just checking my team, it all is 100% correct. (+atk - hp marth, +atk - res effie, -hp + def merric, -hp + atk takumi, is what i have.)

The 3* is someone's sadistic fantasy. What unit in the game can bait like 5 simultaneous attacks from level 35 4*s and live for the rest of the battle?

My level 30 5*s were getting walloped on 2* to the point where I had to funnel them down both sides.

most screenshots I see of people playing this game have at least 3 5* units. Real life Arthur isn't baseline either.

Maybe if you didn't reroll anything and always summoned as soon as you got 5 orbs you'd have shit. Using the free orbs this game gives out, everyone should have several gold star units.

with 4 same-banner pulls, the chance of getting at least one 5* hero is 75% You get enough to do 8 full pulls from just the 10 orb MyNintendo rewards + all story mode missions.

Then you add the monthly quests, login bonus, and launch celebration maps. It's not really that hard.

The peeps who got screwed are the ones with units like Camilla who are not useable in Arena.

These statements contradict each other. The second is mathematically true, so the first is a lie. Everyone should have at least one 5* unit from all the easy free orbs unless they're really unlucky, but more than one is a stretch. Not to mention a 25% chance of failure after 80 orbs is pretty high. 1 in 4 players will be left completely screwed. Which leads into...

Nah. I lost on a bunch of story missions and just powered through them with Light's Blessing of which the game gives you tons of them for doing the monthly quests (which don't require completing the whole story). The big limiting factor is stamina. You absolutely can cut through most of the story with just 4* units. The main ones that will cause problems are all chapter 9 on lunatic, especially 9-4 and 9-5.

you can't use light's blessing on anything that matters so may as well use it for the story (They're not available in Arena or Grand Hero specials, so feel free to dump them onto story chapters). You'll mathematically come out much more ahead of you use them on later high-stamina costing story missions instead of saving a little bit of xp from losing at the training tower.

Probably true in that you're at a disadvantage, but Even if you only have Roy, you should be getting -close- to 20k feathers by now and can upgrade another unit.

And I wouldn't underestimate the power of 4* units. I managed to rank at 44,000s in Arena with a non level 40 team that had a 4* corrin on it. the strategy really does matter more than the characters. It's only for higher levels do you need both characters + strategy. and mostly optional shit at that point. I bet if I had enough level 40 4* units, I could probably put together a team that can beat them using only 4* units.
