use effie to shove him around if you have her.

if not use someone like olivia to help him move faster by taking 2 turns. Olivia is a free unit in rotation although she needs to be leveled up to 3 before she can unlock dance.

Yeah in this game, his movespeed is really a non-issue. You do need movement assisting units, but they're pretty common. Even without them, he's still amazing, but you need to be a bit more careful.

only reason Gordin hasn't overtaken Takumi in the arena is because he doesn't drop as a natural 5*

Yeah my 4star Gordon only has 29 strength as a level 28 4 star.

He will be useless vs armor, get doubledstomped by mages and lolitiki eats him alive.

Maybe he has enough oomph with the 5star stats and 5 star weapon...

I do like mine though, 4* Sharena/Gordin pull some weight. Just...don't leave him in range of mages when ending your turn.

Takumi is a better defense character because he's easier for the AI to use. When you're attacking, if Takumi ends up in melee range you've already fucked up.

4 star Sharena is the only reason I don't insta lose go tiki. Literally everything I have(maybe a couple exceptions) but her is one rounded by lolitiki. Well rounded with solid bulk, good attack and a RES hitting 1-2 counter is just...dayum.

you can't use light's blessing on anything that matters so may as well use it for the story (They're not available in Arena or Grand Hero specials, so feel free to dump them onto story chapters). And I wouldn't underestimate the power of 4* units. I managed to rank at 44,000s in Arena with a non level 40 team that had a 4* corrin on it. the strategy really does matter more than the characters. It's only for higher levels do you need both characters + strategy. and mostly optional s*** at that point. I bet if I had enough level 40 4* units, I could probably put together a team that can beat them using only 4* units.

4* units are usable, but it sounds like your other units are 5*s, which will propel your team much further than a pack of 4*s.

Sigh alright guys, real truths, real talks time as a person who really wanted to love this game. This game sucks. I play a lot of gacha games, and I've played stuff like PAD for 3+ years, played bad ones like Tales of Link for over a year, both started from when the game was nothing much more than a baby.

And you know what, FEH sucks compared to a lot of games I've played, and I'm comparing them during release. It just sucks. There's no way to play this game long whatsoever, unless you wanna grind a bunch of low leveled units. Except there's no incentive to level most characters up. There's a bunch of system that literally doesn't reward effort whatsoever and only benefits whales and absolutely nobody else. Having to wait 2+ months for 1/4 of your team to get minimal improvement is fucking balls. Arena is full of absolute balls, balancing in this game is total balls which makes my orbs feel fucking worthless. Rates suck ass, and people defend it by referring to other gacha games, but $1000+ for a single unit is never a good rate. Actually rates suck because most of the characters in the 5* pool sucks, making the true rate of rolling good <3%, which puts it along the lines of the gacha games that have notoriously low rates.

What is UP with those fucking hero maps?! Literally no benefit to replaying them, can't lose a single unit and is set up so that 4+ units can attack a single unit in a narrow chokepoint, so if you don't have a tanky unit, tough luck. Except they only give 3* unit at best... which will take 2+ months to even use on a higher level because 3* units are ass and 4* units leveling to lvl 40 is a waste of time except incredibly small select few. And the fucking one time payment of units is balls. Utter balls.

Honestly, the solution is really simple. Instead of garbage events, just make it so that Narcian map is repeatable and have it so that his map gets harder as it goes. Have it give points based on how hard of a map you've beaten, but make it so the point scaling isn't utterly balls, so that people with lesser teams have a goddamn chance to at least grind it up. Have it reward orbs, crests, feathers, etc, and have it give enough feathers to get a 4* Narcian to 5*. Have Narcian be recruitable at 4* if you get enough points. Now poor F2P have a good axe unit. People play the game for far longer, there's incentive to actually spend orbs for stam, and there's incentive to get better teams so that you can beat Narcian's map at a harder difficulty.

Fuck, give me the source code and I COULD ACTUALLY FUCKING DO IT. I program for Android lol. I can easily do shit like this.

I wouldn't stress about it too much. It's hard to claim it's P2W when all buying orbs does is give you more chances to summon.

They already said they intend to add more story levels and features as the game goes on; they're deliberately trying to avoid it burning out like Miitomo and Pokemon Go by releasing things every month.

My point is that if you're getting frustrated with the game then stop playing for now, because there's nothing at the moment that can be done about the pressing matters until the next update.

Story's not enough. They're not adding like a Chapter per 2 weeks. The prologue was weak with only 3 stages total, and they only added 4 characters and without animations, with 2 of them being trash pulls.

It's just no good. All my irl friends already quit, I see people dropping out left and right. I'm already literally logging in, doing one run of last stratum and not touching it for an entire day. That's not how you fucking do gacha.

They shouldn't have released it in this state if they intended for something else.

People don't really burn out of gacha games that easily either, considering almost every gacha games have rankings or require constant attention for the greatest benefit and still survive to this day and is still a cash cow

There are definitely a lot of improvements they need to make if they don't want their game to fizzle out after a few months. One of my friends played PAD for years so there is definitely a formula to it.

Personally I just pulled Julia, so I am now content enough with my F2P roster of 5* Roy/Julia and 4* Raven/Sharena/RobinM/Gordin to just stop spending orbs and wait to see what they do.

I used Roy to tank the first hit because the Lance man can't reach and the blue mage doesn't kill him somehow. Then I pull back and clean up with my 4 stars

I'm surprised Roy can tank the first turn. I just shoved Hector and put him where he only gets attacked twice. After that, I danced Kagero with Olivia and sniped FRobin, while the spear guy put her at 1 HP

Usually it's like, if you're willing to work for it, you can get it faster, but this system's like, fuck you, you HAVE to wait months just to do this one thing that would actually make the game fun.

I have no idea where you're pulling 2000 from. The standard rewards cap out at 1600 (which you NEED to use bonus heroes to even reach), and then from that point you need to hope some truly terrible teams face you for defense victories.

1600 feathers from offense is super easy to get. You can do it just by mixing beginner and intermediate arenas which should be easy. Defense is also easy as well you only need ONE person to lose to you and you'll get about 500 feathers.

and if you're short a little on either, being ranked at all even in the 50,001 - 100,000 range gets you another 500 feathers.

I dunno, stream of orbs seem pretty good to me, personally. It's about the same rate as a classic gacha, if the 2 orbs per day thing sticks, or at least is a constant thing. Feathers are just unforgivable, and I'm actually <5000 rank >.>

I think it's alright. Two horseys with blue tomes is very good for the meta. Frankly, I just don't see the point of rolling anymore. I just do it now just to satisfy urges, but PAD godfest is coming up to satiate it anyways. Fucking save me from the horrible rates
