So I was drawing for either of the blue mage cavalry siblings and picked up -def +res and -res +hp Effies.

What do you guys think? Should I train one to 5*? Upgrade Sharena? Upgrade Robin? Nino? There are so many options x.x

My squads as of right now are 4* Sharena, Jeorge, Roy, and Elise. My only 40s.

Also sitting on 4* M!Robin, 3* Nino, Eldigan, 4* Palla, 4* Catria, 4* Camilla, 4* A!Tiki, 4* Fae, and a few others.

The Prince and Princess event sounds like Sharena would be a good choice

You have no idea how much I love FE. Besides, I'm playing like 5 gacha games. This one is one of those I just log in to get the free stones. I logged in early today to see if this event will be any good. I was pretty excited, like wow, I get to choose a friend to take into battle. I get rewards. Only rewards are small amount of feathers. I only get to play it once every 30 minutes. Can't even choose the friend I want

I'm frustrated because I want to like this game so freaking much. But I just hate it. I fucking hate every single laziness that goes into it. But I still wanna hold out. It doesn't take much effort to just open the app once and close it honestly

This new Banner is amazing. 50 orbs and I pulled Karel, Jaffar, Jeorge, and Abel.

I pulled Karel with 20 orbs. I'm so happy, man. Might drop money on this banner that's how good it is

I spent about 100 orbs on this banner and only have a 5* Effie to show for it. The rates are pretty terrible it seems. =/

Purchased 40 orbs against my better judgment. Pulled a 5* Ninian that I was searching for. FE7 squad time. Karel, Ninian, Nino, Jaffar lessgo.

Now that they've handed out some more free feathers, I finally have 20k to promote someone. It's either going to be Robin or Sharena, but I'm leaning Sharena because her weapon gets a pretty significant upgrade.

They both need the big blue emblems, of which I only have like 7, so they're in direct competition for those too.

What are you basing that on? You liking the character or stats wise?


Jaffar is way better than Mathew.
For one, using the Fell Contract greatly hurts your ranking.
Mathew needs to be babied to become an assassin, let alone to get to 20/20
and even at 20/20, his stats are much worse than Jaffar.


top is Jaffar at level 20 and bottom is Mathew maxed at 20/20

Jaffar gets much better Strength, Skill, Defense, and Resistance than a 20/20 Mathew and you only need to level Jaffar 6 levels to hit max.

Mathew joins your party as a level 2 thief.

That's 38 levels you have to give him to hit max and requires a Fell Contract which is worth 25,000G and he's still worse stat-wise.


How can honestly say that Jaffar is a bad Mathew. Mathew isn't even a usable character.

As for Karel and Guy, the gap is much closer. But vs a Guy at 20/20

Karel has more Strength, Resistance, Defense and the same amount of Skill (Cap)

Guy gets much more Health, gets more Speed and Luck.

But Guy is a level 3 Myrmidon and we're talking about level 20/20
and isn't particularly good.

So it's almost like Karel is just better because you don't have to use him ever for him to be usable

Priscilla also ends up with better stats than Serra, but comes later so by then I already have Serra at a higher level. But Priscilla is on a horse, (has better stats) and doesn't compete with EXP because she's a staff user.

I almost feel like we played separate games.

Although Karel nor Guy are impressive anyway.

But Jaffar is one of the best units in the game

I have 96 orbs that I refuse to use until Ike comes in. But I need some Green characters. Every time I run into a Julia in the Arena, she obliterates my team. She doubles Ephraim and my 4 star Lilina (she's so adorable, but so slooooow) and I'm always put in a field where there's are partitions every other square so she's always a safe distance from my Effie.

I wasted so many orbs targeting only Blue summons, and I got a Corrin, which I'm pleased about, but she has +RES/-SPD. Noooo. So I'm left with a ton of blue units, pure fodder for Julia and I have like 1 or 2 3 star Pegasus Warriors, both blue. Maybe I could train Eliwood to take her on, but same problem, he's slow.

I've never had Matthew turn out worse than Jaffar but maybe I just had really lucky Matthews. I always made sure he got lots of EXP in Lyn's story because he's your only thief for like half the game. If my Matthew got screwed compared to Legault then I just used Legault instead.

Jaffar's purpose in my life is solely to feed Nino EXP. Lots and lots of EXP.

Though I never really bothered with Guy because Raven, and never really used Karel because that means turning down a Brave Sword.

I just blew ALL my stockpiled orbs. First looking for Nino on the Nino banner, then, when the fe7 banner arrived, looking for Ninian. Total must've been more than 150 orbs.

I got shit. Not even a 3 star Nino. Only one 5*, which was Raven. Nobody cares about Raven. My last 5-6 pulls were all 3 stars ffs.

So now I'm out of orbs, salty as fuck, and I don't have any of my favorite characters. Almost broke and dropped some cash because I was so mad, but the prices are ridiculous! I could drop $100 on this game and I'd have no guarantee of anything but a repeat of my bad luck. If I spent $80 and just got a Raven, I'd be so much more pissed than I am now.

Now watch as they release Ike and all the other broken shit while I'm still scrambling to replenish my orb total (half as fast now because they took away the 2 freebies per day). I feel hopeless because I'm never gonna get the characters I want EVEN if I spend way too much money. Now I'm thinking I should just uninstall...

Priscilla has always been better than Serra imo. For one thing she's on a horse, and stat-wise, she's not really inferior to Serra.

Matthew is a utility thief. He's only considered top tier because he's just the most useful character, but only outside combat.

Did a full arena with a lvl 36 3* Sully, got 4414 or something, which should get me >10k rank... Frankly, I like her better than Seliph. Every team I ran into also had a merged Hector. This game honestly even does the limit break system wrong. In games that usually rely on this system for dominance, it only really requires like 1-2 units that have limit break, and lb limit is usually like having 5 of the units.... this game requires 11 of the same unit in a gacha that has no special rates or enhanced rates and is a lowly 6%, with even less for specific characters due to the diluted stockpile of characters

I mean, FE7 kind of has a magic user shortage too.

Your anima options are Erk, who sucks, Priscilla, who needs babying to promotion, and Pent, the Lord and saviour to everyone who doesn't bother training Priscilla.

Your light options are Lucius, who looks like a girl, and Serra, who is better in every way but again needs to be babied and needs to avoid S ranking staves by accident.

You get one dark option and I guarantee 90% of players miss him on their first time through.

Meanwhile the game throws far too many axe units at you, including five Paladins. One of which is an early game meat shield and the other is irredeemably awful.

Erk doesn't suck. Him and Pent have similar stats. I always use Erk over Pent because you get Erk super early and as the only mage. I beef him up in Lyn's mode

Erk is only bad if you haven't used him. If he's a regular mage in your party, he is better than Pent. Pent is just more consistent than Erk, and he's pretty much one of the best units you can get if you haven't promoted Serra/Priscilla or Erk
