My first anime figure, Sheeda from Fire Emblem. I don't like how the glare made her left (our right) eye look more lifeless than the other.

Lots of pieces :O she has another face, hands, saddle for the Pegasus (for poses when she isn't on it) and a spear tipper that makes it look like she's striking.

Damn, I'm once again craving a good 3D action game that is challenging to me without being incredibly punishing. Unfortunately such a thing does not seem to exist. Perhaps nier automata in 9 days (cause PC) will scratch this itch.

From a topic I saw on another board I was trying to think of my top 10 game list and I totally blanked out on a single game I would want to put in the top 10. I'm getting seriously jaded and it sucks. It just feels like even the games I like the most have critical flaws that keep me from sticking with them.

On the anime front I'm at around episode 15 of gintama and having a good time with it but I'm kind of in the mood for something more serious and meaningful at the moment. I hate this feeling, like nothing is satisfying in either of my hobbies at the moment, hopefully it passes.

Yep. I didn't beat it on the hardest difficulty but I beat it on the hardest one available by default. It was pretty fun but one playthrough was enough. Would prefer a slower paced action game like dark souls or MH but even another platinum games game would be nice (which nier automata is). I want an action system I can sink hundreds if not thousands of hours into and aside from MH that just doesn't seem to exist. As for MH I've already essentially mastered the system.

I get torn between games with depth and a long road to mastery that just aren't very fun like league of legends and shallow games with quick mastery that are a blast like 50% of the way through until I've learned what does and doesn't work like MGR:R.

Another problem is punishing difficulty. Its possible to make a boss that only does 5% of your hp per hit nearly impossibly difficult and its possible to make a boss that one shots you if it ever hits a piece of cake. When games ramp up the difficulty to high levels in action games they tend to just remove the margin for error rather than increase the complexity of actions, so while it may be quite difficult to beat, its not very fun and in fact extremely frustrating. My challenge run of dks 3 was this way when I stayed level 1 and didn't upgrade my weps past +2. The run took like 600 deaths but most of the time its because a single mistake was fatal rather than because the mechanics actually became any harder.

Still playing D5. On chapter 14 so far, think there are 16 chapters, so I'm getting towards the end. I have 4 pretty good gladiator innocents that I could probably get around 40k attack from with all 4 on one item, but I never use em lol.

Have 3 episodes of Kuromukuro left, so I'm gonna knock that out right now. It's had its up and downs all leading me to the conclusion that it's decent and nothing more.

I'm prejudiced against short episode shows for no real reason, but I think I'll grab these two along with the two I found earlier(Joker Game and Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku). I'll leave Galko chan alone for now, thanks for the recs.

Golden Boy is so good dude. Kinda shocked you haven't watched it yet.

I forget which was dubbed first but Golden Boy and Evangelion have, more often than not, the same voice cast. Which makes both more enjoyable for whatever reason.

Decided to grab it, along with Mikakunin de Shinkoukei. I started on Girlish Number first. I went in blind, so I had no idea what to expect from it. It's an odd little show so far and the mc's delusions are amusing.

On to chapter 15 in D5. I seem to have maxed out my best gladiator innocent at 50k, as well as the mana boosting one at 300 and the skill boosting one at 1900. Trying to max out the money, class mastery, and exp ones too. Also have a second gladiator that's pretty good at 22k ish. Think I'm gonna go for 3 more reincarnations on my main tomorrow, so I can get all the easy to get mastery boosts, since you get +5% for the first 5 reincarnations.

Seconding this recommendation. Galko-chan is genuinely funny, and it gets a lot done in its running time. (And if you like cute girls, so much the better.)

I watched the first two eps in both subs and sub to see which one I should go for.

I think I'm gonna go with dubs for this one. I love All Might's engrish, but Chris Sabat brings a lot of personality to him (in a language that I can actually understand), plus, the dub is actually pretty good. Almost on par with FMA and Cowboy Bebop.

Oklahoma varies wildly in temperature all the time. In the last few weeks we've been jumping between 40 and 80 degrees. There's a saying, "if you don't like the weather in Oklahoma, just wait a few hours."

Its gotten quite cold here and looks to be even colder up till Wednesday. Thursday will still be cold but not as bad as Wednesday where the high will be like 40 degrees. Looks like starting with friday though winter weather will be over in Georgia and it will be warm for the foreseeable future. I hope that forecast is accurate.

Kind of obnoxious that the day it stops being bitterly cold outside is the same day I will begin nier automata and therefor probably not be going outside much anyway. O well.

If you like the cerebral mind-game stuff, I highly recommend Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen (aka Kaguya-sama Wants to be Confessed to: The Geniuses' War of Love and Brains)

You can probably tell from that sweetdiculously long title, but it's a romcom that focuses on two geniuses trying to outwit, outplan, and force the other to confess first.

It's honestly one of my all-time favorites, and certainly one of the more brilliantly written mangas I've read. I have a feeling you'll like this one.
