I've been eyeing Kubikiri Cycle, part of the Zaregoto series. It's a light novel about a guy who keeps getting dragged into a series of murders and other things. Also thinking of finally starting Hyperdimension Neptunia for real.

I'm like 2/3rds of the way through the first season of Higurashi. It exudes a unique aura of insanity/madness/paranoia/schizophrenic, I dig it.



I've been playing dungeon crawl stone soup, which is a traditional roguelike RPG. You should look up the meaning of stone soup, and think for yourself how it applies to game development.

Currently watching Kingdom and it's pretty good so far, despite some janky cgi in spots. Just finished up episode 15 of it.

Nearing the end of Berseria, but an unfortunate ctd in the final dungeon killed my motivation to play it anymore today. I hope I didn't lose grade I earned from a dire foe I faced earlier, as it was the most grade I've gotten from a single fight at around 230.

I think I read something somewhere that To-love-Ru will be continuing the story in a new manga series but it'll have a different name.

In any case, while you're waiting for that, you could check out Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san and Youkai Shoujo Monsuga. I highly recommend those to fill your ecchi needs! ;)

Booted Berseria back up today. Got past where I had my unfortunate crash. Luckily it seems I didn't lose as much progress as I thought I might've, so that's good. Seem to have not lost my 230 grade from a dire foe either, which was the main thing I was worried I'd lost. Made it to the save before the final boss, but gonna grind a little bit, so I can change up the equips I'm wearing. Really wish there was a merchant in the final dugneon.

Been watching some more Kingdom. It's getting me fired up to play something with big battles like m&b warband, total war, or dyansty warriors. Though I don't have any dynasty warriors and the only total war I have is Rome.

Sounds neat, but I don't have Medieval 2 unfortunately.

I beat Berseria. My Steam hours clock in at 98 hours. As far as rankings go, it might be my new number two. I've left stuff to do for my second play through, including the Japanese voices.

Rewatching Sailor Moon

Berserk and the Band of the Hawk, despite the silliness of the title (there is no one named "Berserk" in Berserk), is a blast. Classic Musou series game play, but they amped up the violence to the point that you end up plowing through the battles in what almost looks like a tornado of helmets, limbs, and rubble. It is glorious. The back of the box states that the game covers the Black Swordsman and Golden Age arcs, so there is every reason to expect a sequel.

Will probably finish up Kingdom season 1 today and start on 2.

Not quite done with Berseria, as I want to finish up the prep work to get the most out of my save for a ng+ run eventually. I ended up with a decent amount of grade(a bit over 5k), though I'd be happier if I had 1k more of it. I need to find out if there's a way to keep any equipment though. If not, then I may as well breakdown and/or sell it all.

Boo. Another manga I was reading got axed. :(

It's always irritating whenever a manga gets axed in the middle of the story, but at least Aizawa-san Multiplies ended in that lull period between arcs, and the major plot holes got somewhat resolved earlier.

Really though, the japanese manga industry is ruthless.

I finished up season 1. I'll start season 2 some time today. Might start on Disgaea 5 today as well, wonder how big of a difference it'll be from the first one, since that's the only one I've played. Since I found out you can't keep your equipment in a ng+ in Berseria, that should make my prep work for a ng+ easier.

For sure, if Bakuman is any indication. The publishers don't give two shits about a story if it's not making them money. I think Conan has actually been on the chopping block before, which if that ever happened I would become a shell of a man.

Nothing in that show will dethrone Satania for me. I consider her one of the best anime girls of the last 10 years.

She really is amazing. It actually kinda hurts not picking her as my best girl... I just have such a boner for anime girls like Gab though AND she's blonde! Maybe if Satania was blonde, I dunno!

So who was reading Promised Neverland with me? Almost every new chapter does not disappoint. There have only been a couple "info building" or less exciting chapters but they were good too. Can't wait to see what Ray meant at the end of this latest chapter.

I was gifted a virus as well. I've only played the first Disgaea, so I won't be the best authority on the game/changes. That, and my terrible memory lol. I'm only on chapter 2 so far, so there's stuff that's locked still.

I finished Higurashi, I'll start the second season and the extras at a later, but soon date. I wanted to watch a 1-cour show in the meanwhile, since the second season is another 25+ episodes.


That 1-cour show being Humanity Has Declined. I was surprisingly impressed by the first episode. It seems to be grounded to science-fiction/fantasy conventions, but the presentation is comedic from it's light but serious tone. I also really like the visual aesthetic.

Oooh! I just found out that Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns is coming out on the 28th.

I haven't been keeping up with the Harvest Moon (now Story of Seasons technically) games since A New Beginning (which I didn't like) so this was a nice surprise. It looks like this game is gonna be a huge improvement over that. Haven't played a proper harvest moon game in a while so this looks like a good place to start back up!

Plus, I get a capybara plushie if I pre-order!

Gotta say too, I LOVE how XSEED manages their games. It really feels like they truly appreciate the games they're working on and they interact with the fanbase and community regularly and listen to all the feedback.

Like, the fact that they would try and explain just how hard it would be to localise DLC and be upfront about how much work and effort they have to put into it, not to mention being apprehensive and worry about whether they should make it paid DLC to cover costs, is refreshing to see from a game publisher nowadays.

Been playing the shit outta D5. It's got that evil gradual progression that makes it easy to just keep going. Most disappointing thing so far, is that I haven't really run into any good training maps from the story maps. I'm up to chapter 5 so far. Definitely liking it so far though, as well as the additions that weren't in the first one.

Nope. Well, I did get one of the free prinny dlc characters lol. The Pringer? one.

Good. That means I do not have to feel bad about waiting for it. Last Disgaea I pre-ordered and bought at release was D4.

Still plowing through Berserk and the Band of the Hawk. Noticing that it is like Fate / Extella in that it is very heavy on story for this type of game, and it has a ton of anime footage (from the Golden Age movies, thus far) to go with that.

I want to play through final fantasy V, but I can't stop playing dungeon crawl stone soup. I got this itch from watching a twitch streamer blind play FF6, and was pretty terrible at it to the viewer's joy.

I never beat FF 5, but I played through FF 6 too many times to count.

So after watching all 75 episodes of the original Hajime no Ippo (as well as episode 76 and the two OVA's) and being quite absorbed in it I tried to move onto New challenger....... only to find out that every source I find for it is watermarked in some way, this really bugs me as I like to watch my anime without watermarks so I'm quite saddened by this really
