President Hussein Osama is ruining my country. He keeps trying to give the central government all the power instead of leaving it with the states and the people. This is bad for 2 reasons. First, the central government sucks at everything they do other than the military. Second, it is a slippery slope down to a dictatorship.
That idiot first spends billions on a Stimulus package that anyone with a brain knew would fail. Millions of dollars in that package went to investigating steroids in baseball and horse racing. How the **** will that stimulate the economy?
He doesn't remove the soldiers like he said he would and even put more into Afghanistan (not that I'm complaining since I am in favor of the War on Terror...but he lied to everyone like a lowlife).
Then he gets the important parts of the Arizona Immigration law repealed. So now my paycheck, which dwindles down to nothing after taxes, will go towards illegal aliens for education and healthcare. My taxes go toward them since I'm a citizen, but because they are undocumented they do not have to pay back into the system. That's crap. I get penalized for being legal and they get rewarded for being illegal. And immigrants wait 15-20 years to get in here, but they wait patiently and do it right. But screw them, let's reward the illegals who cheated the system, screwed us over in tax money, and screwed over the classy immigrants who are waiting like they should.
Now he gets this healthcare crap passed. First off, my uncle who is a doctor and voted Obama (along with his whole family) now believes he will be out of business. He said the only way he can stay in business with this healthcare is if he gets 8 patients per hour. Even if he had enough patients, you can't see 8 per hour. And this penalizes us for not having healthcare? Forcing healthcare? Are they insane? More central government power and forcing us to have a service that should be optional. And any country with this healthcare system has garbage healthcare. No incentive for doctors to provide good service and it's always basically a band-aid for anything.
Romney, fix this mess up PLEASE! Obama, you are awful and should feel ashamed.

I have my own problems with Obama, but this is stupid. He most certainly did achieve this goal. As of last December nearly all of our troops from Iraq have been removed.

My biggest concern is what these fools have just done to contract law. Oh, it's fine to force people into private contracts if we look at it as a tax. Sure! Why not have a tax on people who don't take out bank loans from approved lenders? Or how about a tax on people who don't have approved gym memberships? Why in the hell shouldn't there be a tax on people who don't have government approved private nannies?! It's just... they can make you do ANY random s*** now, all they have to do is make it a tax.

Except for the thousands at the embassy

Maybe they'll stop with indirect fat taxes and go to actually taxing fat people. It would be more funny than unjust, IMO. Still pretty unjust, but oh so funny.

Soon people will be marrying their dogs!
Slippery slope!
Not a slippery slope. The damage has been done. There is now legal precedent from the SCOTUS that allows governments to force people into contracts in the guise of taxation. Absolutely pissing on hundreds of years of common law.

Or it's a tax on everybody, and only people who pay for their health insurance get a tax deduction.
I mean, tax deductions from charitable donations mean that the government is implicitly taxing most of the country for NOT being charitable.

To be honest the crying if he loses would be so much more glorious
not even remotely close. At least from where I'm standing. A lot of liberals even seem a little resigned to it at this point, but all the conservatives I know are acting like their team is a 14 point fav to win the super bowl and if Obama takes it they are going to act like they'll have to eat some piss cereal for four years.

We are thought, and reality, and concept, and the unimaginable
half the things complain about obama for are the same things they complained about bush for, it only takes 4 years for them to completely forget that though, the masses are so easily played.
More like Bush, Obama, and Romney are all equally ****ing idiots and the people's tax dollars need to be kept in the private sector rather than be wasted on pointless, unconstitutional wars and bailing out Wall Street, both of which Obama and Romney support.
If you honestly think Romney is better than Obama or vice versa, then you haven't been paying very close attention.

Well, they are things worth complaining about. The problem is that they fail to make the conclusion - namely that both parties work for the same end goal (keeping the masses under the control of the corporations).

Never underestimate the power of stupidity in numbers. ~War13104 Never stoop to the level of idiots. They will drag you down and beat you with experience.
if you like the war on terror so much, why dont you go fight in it?
Because I don't want to. It's really that simple. I have no interest in joining the military. I'm sure if the Holocaust was occurring right now, every one of us would be in favor of going to war with Germany and Japan. Doesn't mean we want to be a part of the military. The whole "if you are in favor of a war you should be joining the military and fighting in it" argument is naive and holds no water in an adult discussion.
From: KingButz | #048 It's easy to support a war when you aren't the one fighting it.
It's easy to support anything when you aren't doing it. Doesn't mean people can't have opinions about things. The people in the military signed up for the job. They knowingly chose it. They didn't sign up for the military to sit around and do nothing. They signed up so that they could fight when called upon to do so. I am in favor of exterminating mice and bugs that enter my house. Doesn't mean I want to be the one to do it. I let someone who signed up for the job do it. If you don't want to go to war, then don't join the military. It isn't rocket science.
