I love all the crybaby Lib8erals who think any conservative is a troll. User got through law school, which means he's doing more with his life than you ever will.

If someone writes a lot in their post, they probably aren't trolling.

I don't believe for a second User got through law school.

And there are Board 8 conservatives that I don't think are trolls, masterplum is the first that come to mind.

Want me to add to imageshack the e-mail from the NY Bar congratulating me on passing? Someone else on B8 said the same thing until I did just that. Then they put their foot in their mouth and accepted the truth.

Come on. That's just lame. First off, I have $83k in student loans and it's all from law school. My dad didn't pay anything, and I don't exactly have the best relationship with him (though he has been better the last 2-3 weeks so we'll see how things go). The mom thing I don't even need to address since it's just stupid. I worked my ass off during law school, and somehow managed to work even harder while studying for the NY and NJ Bars. It was the toughest thing I ever did in my life but I worked damn hard for it. Your post was filled with unreachable straws and immaturity.

Wow, you must be psychic. I was just thinking about whether it was possible for me to give even less of a **** than I do now, and you bust out your life's story.

Your post didn't make a whole lot of sense for a couple of reasons, but I'm just going to respond to the not caring portion by stating the obvious: That you very much appear to care.

Yeah, it's a well documented phenomenon that those with attention and self-esteem issues desperately try to convince themselves that everyone cares about them

I was basing off of the following criteria:

1. The amount of posts you've made in the topic.
2. Your censored profanity in the 5:50:24 post (usually indicates excitement with regard to the discussion).
3. The angry and bitter tone you seem to carry in each post.

Usually those aren't so blatantly displayed by someone who is apathetic about a conversation or topic. Then again, what do I know? I'm just a troll who lies about law school.

That is the dumbest logic ever. "Someone was successful in college, obviously mommy and daddy spoiled the guy."

http://www.virginia.edu/Facts/Glance_Tuition.html

Should I just assume your parents are paying 24k a year for you, too?

Just popping in here to point out that American tuitions being this high is atrocious and embarrassing in itself. This is probably what you guys should be focusing on improving. As I understand it, 24k a year is on the low end of tuitions.

As an example of how ridiculous this is, one of the best universities in my country, McGill, is roughly 32k for a bachelor of science, for the entire 4 year program.

I believe that he went to law school, because with the job market for lawyers the way it is, I don't think people would lie about making a mistake like that.

qft. Crappy market...especially for law. Though I did get a job fairly quicker than most. Only took 2-3 months rather than 8-9 months like most seem to be waiting these days.

Well, if it's right on one thing, it's that 'terrorism' really is the new scaremongering buzzword just like communism was. You can get away with anything if you get enough stupid people afraid of the boogeyman, like the Red Scare, and...well, the Patriot Act

Well that is the total expected fee. The tuition is just $12K, which is extremely low. UVA has one of the lowest tuitions in the country for the level of education.

But yeah, the main problem is that the government is inflating the education bubble so much with "free" money and loans. And then when someone suggests cutting education spending everyone goes "WOAMG WHY YOU HATE EDUCATION ITS SO IMPORTANT" and then they raise spending and the tuition rises with it.

Usually is right, but it doesn't prove that I care just because I exhibit some "caring" behavior.

Just like "usually" law students deserve their degrees due to strong work ethic, above-average intelligence, natural talent, etc., but it's not guaranteed that someone with a law degree will exhibit those qualities.
