And Vagrant Story isn't even in the same world as FFXII, is it?
Actually, it kind of is. VS does retroactively take place in Ivalice. Matsuno says that it wasn't his plan, but the almighty retcon reigns supreme in SquareEnix land.

Congrats to SuperNiceDog, your 2011 Guru Champion!
That does not surprise me at all though it sucks to hear anyways. I don't think anything I was really interested in last E3 and the stuff I know about I'm interested in this E3 will be out until 2013 or later.
Anyway, I'm interested in Tomb Raider, but it has less to do with what was shown last year (which wasn't as good as it could have been), and more to do with the last few Tomb Raider games. Hopefully it still has what makes Tomb Raider good.

I would assume the Kirby 20th Anniversary Collection will make an appearance. Interested to see if it really is more than just a ROM dump like they claim it will be.
As far as announcements, I'm not sure what to expect game-wise. Most of the usual sequels already have games shown or expected to be shown (Mario WiiU), but I think Type-0 will be announced for Vita. I feel like something outside of Rising will be shown from Kojima, too.
Oh, Castlevania. Forgot that--that could be a nice launch game for the WiiU.
Konami seems like the software company to watch this year, at least pre-e3. they've got that Castlevania, they've got something ZOE-related, they've got Revengeance (sorta), and then there's the chance of Kojima doing something as well.
Ubisoft looks good too. they've got Shootmania, AC3 of course, Rayman Legends looks good, and they're always first to support new platforms (even if their efforts are usually garbage)

I assume the Contra they teased last year will make an appearance
I always enjoy whatever insanity Microsoft comes up with to sell the Kinect. Remember that creepy digital friend? Or the girl playing with the tiger? Or people jumping about wildly during that adventures game? Or the pre-recorded videos that people tried to sync their movements to?

Have Microsoft ever actually had a good conference? I honestly can't remember one. Their 2009 conference started pretty well, but then devolved into lol.

Something something something ^Poorly disguised anti-caps sig
Microsoft can do well when they want to. The biggest E3 announcements this gen have all been at a Microsoft conference. They're just in Nintendo mode right now where they're coasting on current successes.
Of that list, games I am interested in: Borderlands 2 (360, PS3, PC) XCOM: Enemy Unknown (360,PS3, PC) Resident Evil 6 (360, PS3, PC) Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (360, PS3) Pikmin 3 (Wii U) Super Mario Wii U (Wii U) Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (360, PS3, PC)
Yeah, I dont trust EA with Sim City, and yeah Im surprised im slightly interested in a Tekken.
