Nowhere near the worst movie ever made (despite what others say) since there were a few moments which I liked. Still, the acting was generally over-the-top and/or bad (Alicia SIlverstone in particular), the costume designs were too ridiculous, and the overdose of one-liners begin to irritate very early on.

Maybe so, but it is certainly the worst superhero movie ever made
The Bourne Ultimatum - I have come to accept that this film series can no longer follow the books, but this was the best of the 3 easily. The camera still seems to be a bit shakey, but this film gets a solid 8.5/10.

Decent thriller by Christopher Nolan starring Al Pacino, Hilary Swank and Robin Williams - in his 'dark phase' that was 2002 (Death to Smoochy and One Hour Photo came out the same year). I missed a few minutes here and there in the first half but I think I saw all the crucial scenes and got enough of it to have a full understanding. The movie takes place in Alaska during the summertime when there's daylight 24/7 for about 3 months straight, and Pacino, playing a cop investigating a murder, has trouble maintaining his sleep schedule - or getting any sleep at all. The film's narrative takes a fairly sharp turn early on which was interesting, and the subtle visual effects make you feel just as sleep-deprived as Pacino. The premise may not pull you in immediately, and the writing isn't top notch, but it's worth seeing once if you're a fan of Nolan, any member of the cast, or detective thrillers.
The Dictator: 7/10
Just about as stupid as it is funny, Sacha Baron Cohen this time delivers a mostly-scripted political & social satire with his new character, the supreme ruler of "Waadeya", General Haffaz Aladeen. Some fun cameos along the way as well.
So I decided to watch this again and I realized something. Scar only has about a whole minute of screentime. For some reason it used to be my favorite part of the movie.

As far as bad sci-fy movies go this one was pretty interesting. And by that I mean that the shark deaths actually seemed to be more creative...for about 4 or so deaths out of the 15+ cast. Movie was still bad and stupid though.

Men in Black 3D - 5/10 Not anywhere as bad as MIB2 but I kept thinking what is the point of all this. There is one kinda nice emotional scene and a good bit of character development. The only reason I saw it was because it was free!
I had no interest in watching this film until I was offered to go see this free with someone. Overall, it was okay. Chris Hemsworth's Huntsman was the best perfomance of the movie. Charlize Theron's performance was decent outside of whenever she screeched her dialogue. The visuals looked great at times, though there were a few instances where the effects looked too CGI'ed/fake.

The Game of Their Lives AKA The Miracle Match: 4.5/10
I love US soccer, but this film is more about (poorly executed) Hollywood cheese than it is about the actual 1-0 upset of England in the 1950 World Cup. Angelo Pizzo, who did a fine job writing Rudy, and wrote Hoosiers as well, (which I haven't seen but I've heard good things) comes off as either having a very limited knowledge of soccer, or is gearing the film towards children. For some reason, many facts about the team and the world cup had to be omitted or altered for the movie, which was completely unnecessary as the raw, real life story itself is remarkable. For example, the Haitian-American player, Joe Gaetjens, is depicted practicing Voodoo, but in real life was raised Catholic. (but I guess EVERYONE from Haiti automatically practices Voodoo >_> ) They also changed the captain for the game, from Ed McIvenny to Walter Bahr, for no apparent reason.
Apart from the US team being thrown together just weeks before the World Cup, another huge reason why the upset was so shocking was the US team's performances leading up to the tournament. England was of course regarded as the best team in the world, but the US had lost their last seven international matches by a combined score of 45-2. The filmmakers also completely ignored the other matches of that World Cup: just before the US/England game, the USA were beaten by Spain 3-1 and England had beaten Chile 2-0, so there was even more reason to think England wouldn't have a problem winning. Then, once they finally got to the game itself - which is supposed to be the climax and most interesting part of the movie - it was completely rushed. Should have been about twice as long, and they could have cut back on the cheesy and uninteresting "back story". A factual documentary about the game would probably be much more enthralling. This movie deserves a lower score, but I had a prior interest in the real-life game, most others would (and did) rate it lower. Disappointing.
It was really fun to see the superhero's characterization in this movie. I loved how they managed to bring the concept of World War II in such a fun and even lighthearted manner; it really felt like a superhero was protecting everyone with style. The build-up of the character was a little delayed FWIW, but it was great to see him in action battling Nazi groups later on. I felt disgusted by the villain, but overall it was still a great action flick.
Thor - 8.4/10
This one was very fantasy-oriented for rather obvious reasons, which was great, but this movie felt too short because it felt kind of rushed and hard to follow in a lot of things (my brother had to explain to me a whole lot of the details I didn't quite get at the end of the movie). It's still great though to see this one other superhero in action, since he was present from almost the very start of the movie.

Last movie I watched: Oceans Eleven(2001) - 8.5 all three of these movies were gold.
Last Movie I watched for the first time: Pandorum - 7 Decent Horror/Sci Fi flick with a good enough plot and ending. Dialogue was pretty bad but overall it was better than expected.
Terminator 2 - 9/10 - Docked points only because I still can't stand the first third with John Connor. One of the most annoying movie kids ever until things went from bad to worse.
Extra half-point for Big Mike. One of the best things of the movie was seeing Chuck's Big Mike. So unexpected.
And now in the first few minutes of T3, there's the General, XD

So weve cornered Andy and Kyle in the Swarts stairwell and then this guy comes out of NO WHERE like ****ing Batman or something. ; ExTha is the man
Prometheus - 7.5/10 Amazing visually but lackluster in everything else. Still worth seeing and above average.
The Full Monty - 9/10 Hilarious, simply hilarious and great. I love Robert Carlyle and Tom Wilkinson
Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close - 4/10 I don't believe I've ever sat through a film wishing it to be over more than this. Astonishingly boring and every performance annoyed me besides Von Shadow and the black business worker. Still it has some well constructed moments.
The Long Search: Judaism, Christianity & Islam: 8.0 Remarkably well-crafted, but rather irrelevant sociopolitically after 35 years have passed since it was filmed. Ronald Eyre was a boss documentary narrator/traveler, though.

Very good movie, about a Polish sewer worker who helps to hide Jews during the German occupation in WW2. If you liked Schindler's List, you'll no doubt like this one.
Nominated for best foreign language film at the 2012 Oscars.
A simply adequate plot was overshadowed by its outstanding characters. The focus on them at the beginning and end look like the perfect pieces for something special, but the somewhat mundane middle marred what would have been an otherwise tremendous movie.
I wasn't planning on ever watching it, and definitely not as a midnight showing, but it's always a good time hanging out with my cousin.
That's My Boy - 7/10 - It's much better than the trailer made it out to be. I went in thinking it was going to be crap, that Adam Sandler hasn't done a decent movie in years and Andy Samberg's off-SNL presence was meh, but... it's really good. It's nowhere near Oscar-worthy or close to anyone's Top 100 list, but there's no way it'll be up for any Razzies. It was classic Happy Madison. It had that spark that The Waterboy, Billy Madison, and Happy Gilmore had and still have today. It was sophomoric, juvenile, one hell of a lot of fun, and had some great and unexpected punchlines. And some great twists. Like, not really twists, but just things that just made you smile when you saw what they did there. Great cameos, especially if you enjoyed his early works, and though the story is telegraphed, it's awesome.
I'd recommend a watch.
