Punk/Y2J was decent, I liked the psychology going in different directions each time the last one didn't work out, don't see much of that, not the way they do it anyway. Rock/Cena was dumb. They did the right thing there but the wrong way of going about it. Time for a new direction with Cena or it's even worse. Most everything else was serviceable. The Funkasaurus, live acts and DB match were insulting. I split this show with a friend and they continually find ways to make a paying customer feel stupid for being such. Show beating Cody sucks but annoyingly I totally saw it coming, because in-storyline Cody absolutely deserved it. I had Show by DQ out of hope, but yeah... it sucks the feud and story was written that way. Bryan/Sheamus I didn't see coming and that sucked. I can SORT of buy that it made sense character-wise but it's insulting to people who wanted a good match there, even if it had only been 7 or 8 minutes. I don't like that SD's main-event gets such little respect and Bryan was clearly over with the crowd. A real shame. Every other match ranged from "eh" to great, and Punk/Jericho seems better in hindsight because I was disappointed with it at first, but the second half was pretty outstanding and it was just generally very polished and told a decent story. Taker/HHH was more theatre than wrestling and I loved that. It seemed to have more energy than last year's, as well, in the early stages.
