For me it was Dragon Age.I saw these missions and it said you can gain new items and quests and I finally tried it for the first time to see what was all this DLC fuss.I have bought since then a lot of DLC...But I am not regretting it.

I bought pretty much all the DLC for disgaea 3. If you count the fact that I bought a ps3 soley for disgaea 3 that game cost me close to a thousand dollars!

Neverwinter Nights, if you count a compilation disc of previously download-only Premium Modules as 'buying DLC'.

If not... Dragon Age, probably. Or Mass Effect 2, not sure which I got the DLC for first.

I upgraded from my PS2 specifically so I could download additional songs for GH3 and RB. When I got my 360, I soon bought full versions of Geometry Wars, Castle Crashers and Puzzle Quest.

Edit: Unless MMORPG expansions count. Even then I think I bought boxed copies of everything up until Lich King, which would still be after the release of GH3.

Almost everyone has bought DLC.Guess that is why the companies make more.Also someone bought horse armor?Nice.
