For a comparison FFXIII sold 1,501,964 copies on the PS3 in Japan in 1 week. Why would anyone sane expect FF13-2 sales to approach FF13's? FF spinoffs have never approached their original games, the only one that's even within half of the original is FFX-2 and that was literally the first, before we learned to expect a quality dropoff from such titles! A better comparison for FF13-2 are games like Revenant Wings and Crisis Core, both of which it outsold. And especially compared to what I assume is a relatively low budget, I would assume FF13-2 raked in some pretty nice profits. The big reason why is that, he needs to be attractive to really make that celes scene uncomfortable.
