Right here in this topic. I'm gonna do the 3rd version of each series when possible, so I'm gonna play Yellow, then Crystal, then Emerald (and possible either Fire Red or Leaf Green), then Platinum (and possibly either Heart Gold or Soul Silver), then hopefully by the time I'm done with those, the 3rd version of Gen 5 will be out.
Rules that I will be following:
1: If a Pokemon faints, I release it (or otherwise do not use it for the rest of the game).
2: I can only heal in battle or at Pokemon Centers.
3: I can only catch/obtain 1 Pokemon per area, and it must be the first unique Pokemon I encounter per area.
3a: Legendary Pokemon are immune to such rules, and may be caught when encountered.
4: I must nickname all of my Pokemon.
5: No trading between games, only in-game trades are allowed.
6: Any rules suggested to me or that I think up that would make the game harder will be applied at my discretion.

 Alright, here we are!  Setting the game speed to Fast, and shutting off the animations because they annoy me. Also, Set battle style. LETS DO THIS  Why thank you, Professor Oak! Let's get things started! In honor of the current contest, I think I'll just do it old school and be Red. And my rival is obviously gonna be Blue.  Here  We  Go! So I do the normal stuff  pick up the potion from my PC, and start out on my journey to find Oak!   And we encountered a Pikachu, which Oak promptly caught without even damaging it.  We head back to Oak's lab, and Blue here was being a meany butt like always.  Ok, time to get the pogeys! I think I want a Squirtle!  Oh. Guess that works.  Time to name you... Sollux! In Yellow Brock isn't that hard to deal with.
Butterfree, Nidoran, Mankey, all extremely capable against him. Alright, first I need to show you updated levels. I ended up training a bit, and METAPOD is gonna try to do some awesome stuff in this battle!
