I'm gonna stock up on stuff, mostly Potions and a few more Pokeballs.
I WANT IT. I WANT IT NOW. HOW DO I GET IT? (this counts as a Pokemon caught in Cerulean City proper, so I'm not breaking any rules.) The internet says to make my Pikachu really happy. Let's do this!
Looks good to me :D Now to go back to the box and deposit someone...
Sorry, Pepperanne, but Bulbasaurs are already part Poison, and Geobro is part Ground, sooo...
Yes yes yes! Now what to name it...
Named it Tarkus because I'm having fun playing Dark Souls lately.

I don't think Geodude is going to help much at the gym.

Well... I guess pogeys in Yellow don't run out of PP? I managed to get Geodude down to here through sheer struggling... But I don't wanna kill my precious METAPOD... Guess you live to fight another day, METAPOD!
Nope, computer-controlled Pokémon had unlimited PP in Generation I. It wasn't terribly noticeable most of the time, but when facing Mewtwo in Pokémon Stadium, it was pretty blatant.
And yeah, it's pretty easy to get all three of the RB starters in a Nuzlocke of Yellow, because Bulbasaur and Squirtle are both found inside cities and Charmander is just onto Route 24--or is it 25?
That reminds me, I need to restart my Pokémon Yellow Nuzlocke, which got cut short due to the game erasing itself and also the list of people who had signed up for a Pokémon being saved to a hard drive that has since been erased. ...I'll start it up again in 2012, since I'm still dealing with computer problems and such.

If I had been able to afford just 1 more potion, I would have been able to Struggle Brock's Geodude to death. I'll write that one down as failure to manage money rather than METAPOD being bad.
