Previous results: a. The voter turnout sucked, but the match with The Old Spalding Song Sucked was close. In the end, it loses to Dimensional Dream by a single vote. Youhou 3 advances, 8-7. b. Freon World was good, but it seems Crucifix Held Close was better. CV: PoR advances, 10-6. c. Push started off leading the JFF match, but Each Reason took the last 5 votes to make it look lopsided from there. Sora wins, 9-5.

First match is outstanding. Dreams isn't quite as good as Dreamwatch, but that's no knock on it. Tallon Overworld is basically the reason I nominated Metroid Prime and is by far my favorite song from the game.
Other 2 matches are really easy. Nothing from Ys 7 has impressed me and this BoF selection way below the standard it set in previous rounds. Meanwhile Hope and Race are both great.

And the upset train just keeps rolling easily as YS 7 catches Umineko in a moment of weakness. Desert of Despair, even more easily than Tallon Overworld.
JFF match, listening is just a formality by this point. One game I've been for just about every step of the way, and the other I've voted against every time. Sure enough, Breath of Fire V still sucks and Castle Crashers is still awesome. Race Around the World.

Thank you. Sorry to be a pain, JC, but it's a tiny bit of precaution against people who might conceivably come in here and go "pssh, of course I'm gonna vote for Chrono Cross and Umineko. They're like the two best soundtracks there are!"
Because, well, it's not completely a given they're going to win, so I want to make sure Tallon Overworld and Desert of Despair at least get a fair shot before casting your lot with the favorites. I could easily see someone walking in who never ever paid this contest any mind and just picking the better-known game. In that sense, thankfully, there aren't any FF games left.
Dreams of the Shore Bordering Another World Desert of Despair Castle Crashers - The Race Around the World
Tallon Overworld isn't bad, but oh my gosh, I have been in love with Dreams of the Shore Bordering Another World ever since i first heard it. The second match has two great pieces for different reasons, but overall I am giving Desert of Despair the slightest edge. The Way That Should Be has some neat effects but is sort of disappointing compared to previous rounds, while The Race Around the World is quite catchy.
Also, I am disappoint at seeing the Touhou 3 win was a typo. =(
