Also to correct something: Silverliner didn't really manipulate me into denying Vic the ability to bid on Shanoa or anyone else. I mean, yeah, he tried to convince me, and he made good points, but I'm pretty sure he had the ability to outbid me on Seymour so yeah, it was largely because I didn't want to risk Silver getting on the Seymour train.

There's a chance I'll be involved in some way, though I'm a lot more sour on mercs as a game in concept actually working after how the final went-- forget admin problems and etc etc, if the game's integrity can be compromised so easily I'm just down on the voting aspect even being possible to work at all. Like I said, if the voters were just "stupid" it wouldn't have been an issue for me in the least, but yeah.
Maybe I'll get over it, though. And "never say never" but the chances of that involvement being as a player is next to 0. Also worth saying that I think the plan is to try and get a fresh batch of players anyway should it happen-- but I'll also say I don't think that's a very reasonable goal. -- No problem! I intentionally abstained in Silver/KJH and Drak/KJH in the RR because I thought KJH would win. Nothing in the rules stating I have to vote, just that if I do vote it has to be what I actually believe. And I stuck to that the entire way through. For better or worse my entire Mercs philosophy for two iterations was to be loyal to the rules and my word, and nothing but. FFD and Wang are Lawful Evil. Actually Wang might be Neutral Evil given how many bogus rulings he made. I'm um... Chaotic Chaotic, as some dude so beautifully put it. I wish I could say I was Chaotic Evil but I played the good guy in this run too often for my own good despite getting my fair share of puppy kicking in. Semi might be Chaotic Evil being anti-conspiracy and all, but that's probably Chaotic Neutral territory. I don't think anyone else actually falls on the evil spectrum. Most are neutral. Numbers looked bad by earlier in the game by association with Wang but he's not really evil. Saps like Vic that stay true to intentionally skewed deals are Lawful Good. Chris definitely isn't Lawful Good despite calling himself a paladin in the past. Why am I rambling on about this. I blame Ed Bellis's latest abandoned project. -- No problem!
