I've been holding out on playing it so I can get Justice For All and play it first, but I don't know if it's actually important to do so or not. I still think it's worth playing them in order, though, especially since you should play them all in the first place. Apollo Justice is pretty much just as good as JFA, as long as you don't get hung up on how phoenix is in that game for whatever silly reason. It's still a good game with some very good cases, but you'll probably end up not thinking its canon. Don't know why people think that's such a big deal, though. There is one truly awful case, but the rest are more than good enough to make up for it. AAI is really, really bad. Very slow with mostly bad characters and plotlines.
