I can live with the left analog stick in either place but I want my D-Pad in the primary spot if I'm going to be playing games that need it. Like, I'm never really sure how I'm supposed to hold the thing. And whenever I would play something, it felt like I was constantly having to look down to remember which buttons were what. I don't see how the 360 analog placement is "superior" for most games, though. I think you could argue that it does favor FPS more, but aside from that, it's pretty much a push in every way.
