I was just talking about this with KoolAid on AIM, and I thought it'd make a neat general topic.
For one reason or another, what are some games where you just decided, "I don't want to play this stupid game anymore," and you put it down and haven't picked it up since.
There was no real reason why that I can remember, but there was a point where I thought NSMB for DS just wasn't any fun and I quit playing.
Eventually put down DK64 because I got flat out tired of collecting so much crap.
Maybe others, but those are the two that came to mind right away.

FFXII, Star Fox Adventures. That's pretty much it, I generally like just about everything at least a little. Those two games are pretty much the only ones that I've outright decided not to play anymore.
Ghoul School A Boy and His Blob Crystalis Adventure Island 2 Mega Man 10 The Tales games Star Ocean 2 SotN Half Life 2 Portal Final Fantasy XIII Brawl (I stopped in the story mode when I had to go through all those portals or whatever the hell that horrible idea of a last stage was)

I have it had since, I don't even know, 1995? I still own it. I could never get past the boss on the second level, and even getting past the first level took all of my skill. I desperately wanted to get to the part where you play as Han Solo advertised on the box, but I just couldn't do it. Maybe I can now, though, but I don't own a SNES.

Tales of Symphonia is probably the big one. I quit Final Fantasy (original) after my ROM save state was corrupted and I lost everything. Might go back one day, especially now that I can buy it on Wii. I only played FFXII for about 30 minutes, but I didn't so much "quit" that game as I got Mario Galaxy and simply never went back to it. I stopped playing the PS2 Castlevania game after only about 30 minutes as well. Is that one worth a playthrough?

Monster Rancher EVO - Took the Monster Rancher that I knew and loved and basically **** all over it. I could stand it for a little bit but it didn't take long for me to realize that it wasn't going to get any better
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles - Nobody would play with me, and they were smart in doing so, so I kept having to do the levels by myself and nothing about the game really caught my interest to keep me playing it. I had a friend that actually wanted to play, but I quickly realized that having more people didn't really change anything
There are a few other games, like Conker's Pocker Tales and Enter the Matrix, but those are due to problems within the game that cause false difficulty, so I am not sure that's the angle that you are looking at here

"Anybody interested in grabbing a couple of burgers and hittin' the cemetery?" -Royal "Oh sure, walk to the sun"- Guybrush
Xenosaga. One of the few games I've ever sold. Decided that not only did I not want to play it right then and there, but also that I didn't want to play it ever, so I took to GameStop practically the next day.
I think those are the only times I've actually thought "I'm literally never playing this game again" but there are many more I've lost interest in and will probably never play again

Crystal Chronicles is a ton of fun if you have three friends who like playing it who all have GBAs and connector cables, which I was fortunate enough to have in college, where I played the ****ing **** out of some Crystal Chronicles and had a ****ing blast doing it, too. I fully understand the criticisms ("It sucks if it's just you playing it!" "You need two systems and a cable to play it!" "Is 'miasma' even a word?") but if you actually got to play it as it was meant to be played it's fantastic.

Silent Hill 3, Splinter Cell, and the first .hack game were a couple for me. Oh and Phantasy Star Collection on GBA, especially the original.
I don't finish many games, but usually it's just like something new comes out and I just never pick it back up. Very few times do I ever really think "man F this game", but those were a couple. Those games I listed were all ones I ended up trading in, which is pretty rare for me.
Dragon Quest IX Final Fantasy VIII Aidyn Chronicles: The First Mage (though, note: I always quit at a certain point, but I've gotten there at least three separate times)
RyokIes posted... valkyrie profile 2. worst garbage of a game ever, which sucks since the first is amazing. oh and lost odyssey. that game was boring as ****
You make my heart bleed.
Favorite PS2 game ever.

Oh Kingdom Hearts 1 was another. I actually didn't trade that one in, I'm not sure why. Probably because I didn't shop at Gamestop anymore at that point, so the $1 they probably would've given me for it would have been about the same as just throwing it in the garbage.
I really don't know why I haven't thrown it in the garbage yet.
I bought this game new at Gamestop, played 30$ went '' What the **** is this ****ty game and why did I pay for it? '' went back to Gamestop the next day and got like 5$ for it.
Buyer remorse.

I stopped KH1 at the last boss because of the bull**** controls too. I only managed to finish it last year. I was so glad KH2 didn't have atrocious water and flying levels.
