Even though a few @WWE Twitter followers predicted that Alberto Del Rio would cash in his Raw Money in the Bank contract, no one could have guessed that former WWE Champion Kevin Nash would play a part in altering WWE history. The question is, why did Nash attack newly crowned Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk? Did Nash know that Alberto Del Rio would cash in his Money in the Bank contract and pick the bones left behind to claim the gold? If Nash did know of Del Rios opportunistic intentions, why would he want to help The Mexican Aristocrat fulfill his self-professed destiny? The first answer that comes to mind is money, but Alberto Del Rio has lots of it, and after a 20-year legendary career of his own, Nash probably doesnt need the cash.
So if greed wasnt Nashs motive, did WWE COO Triple H give his longtime Kliq running buddy this opportunity to shock the world and re-enter the limelight by costing Punk the title on a globally televised stage? After all the insults hurled the way of him and his wife, Stephanie McMahon, by the Straight Edge Superstar, Triple H probably wont be losing any sleep tonight over the arguable injustice that Punk suffered. And even though the look of shock and disbelief on his face would indicate Triple H had no knowledge of either Kevin Nashs or Alberto Del Rios actions, The Games Hall of Fame career proves he can be dangerously duplicitous.
I'd like to know what the people saying it needed to stay on Cena/Punk only would have done next, because that angle by itself is just about played out. You do a rematch when they have nothing new to do or say? It'd get tired way too quickly.
It's still on Cena/Punk. They're just adding a new dynamic to keep it fresh.

You say that like it's a bad thing. Speculation over what someone will do next is good. Speculation over why someone did something is not.
"Random nonsense happens, tune in for an explanation!" is not good booking imo, it's Vince Russo booking. The needless use of over-the-hill 90s stars only makes it Russo-ier.
The finish could have been a little better I think. I would have liked Christian's final comeback to have been more than just one whack with a kendo stick, or at least for the counter to have come off a Killswitch attempt rather than a random crossbody. But at least he didn't resort to eating the ringpost yet again.
Dammit it wasn't a random crossbody! It was a callback to the finish of their first match. All the counter-move sequences in last night's match built upon stuff from their previous matches.
I'm still optimistic about the Raw stuff, but I'm not at all going to argue with anyone about that, at least until we see where it goes. You have every right to be skeptical when the Kliq gets involved.

The Kliq can very easily override CM Punk, as great as he is.
Let's say The Dark Knight Rises was directed by Christopher Nolan but with a screenplay by Vince Russo. You can't just go "Oh well Nolan is great, he'll handle it."

I'd be more okay with HHH and Nash and stuff if I could see any end result other than SRS BIZ HEELZ for both of 'em. And while I like HHH, SERIOUS-UH GAME-UH bores me to tears, and I can't imagine I'd enjoy it with Nash either.

So in all the criticism of last night (and much of it is deserved, I agree), I'm curious as to how many people liked the finish of Sheamus/Henry, because personally, I thought it was pretty much ideal.

Mistake you're making - overlooking the fact that we might not want to be saved.
It was the perfect ending to their first real fight. You can't have Henry lose right now, he's too hot. You can't have Sheamus get pinned either though since he is hot off his turn. Your other option here is to have Henry get DQd by going for the chair and Sheamus gets out of the way and does a bro kick, but I think that is better suited for an SD finish to hype their next match. Henry looked rediq strong and Sheamus shows that he isnt backing down by trying to break the 10 count. They got this one spot on. For that matter they booked Christian and Orton very well too. Jaykl was spot on with saying it did everything right. The Cena and Punk match itself was great even though the start was a bit slow. I already commented on the Diva's match too. I think match wise everything was right, it's just left some things unfinished and unclear story wise that is the main problem.

Between the Keystone Light bit a few weeks ago and Subway tonight, I'm wondering (not actually) if WWE will eventually dispense with commercials altogether in favor of integrated promos.
That said, I'm pretty sure Miz did a better job than Jared advertising for Subway, simply by announcing that he was going to do an advertisement for Subway.

Please, call me Loyal. Nintendo has this whole thing about making people want to give them money and then not letting them do it.
And even when Cole does bother to talk about the people in the match, it's "HEY EVAN BOURNE IS THE PRESIDENT OF A HOLE DIGGING COMPANY! HAHA! WHAT A LOSER!"
