We start with Martel vs Volkoff and yeah this is a cluster.

Volkoff gets pinned first, this is the first appearance of Demolition on PPV and this match is really horrible in trying to follow what the hell is going on.

Not only do you have a ton of teams but you also have a lot of managers.

Haku is now heel for the few of you who care about alignments. So far no signs of Don Muraco which is great.

Paul Roma is wrestling though, make your own jokes!

The Rougeau Bros have been eliminated, sorry Nee. Dino Bravo is also in this match.

I like SVS matches, I really do, I think its an awesome concept, but I also think having every match on the PPV be a SVS match can be pretty draining and this is just a 2 hour PPV!

We're down to the Hart Foundation and the islanders vs The Killer Bees and Paul roma

Paul Roma is looking like the star of this match along with Bret.

I really couldn't care less about the other geek teams.

HART FOUNDATION ELIMINATED BY THE KILLERBEES, I AM BOYCOTTING THE WWE UNTIL THEY FIRE THE BEES!

Gosh I hate the results of these early cards so much.

Killer Bees win via a switcharoo, what faces, this match is an auto DUD, for having the KBs for going over hardest in this lengthy epic.

MAIN EVENT

Rick Rude, King Kong Bundy, Butch Reed, One Man Gang and Andre the Giant w/ a collection of managers vs Bam Bam Bigelow, Ken Patera, Don Muraco, Paul Orndorff and Hulk Hogan

I've legit lost track of what alignment Mr Wonderful was supposed to have , I swear he keeps flip flopping worse than Kane and Big Show. Also NOOOOO, WHY MURACO, JUST WHY!

The WWE is out to get me by having Muraco on TV, also Piper is nowhere to be seen, he did afterall retire!

Rick Rude rocks at wrestling. Thing is, I gotta ask, where the hell did these guys come from?

One man, Bam Bam and Rude were nowhere to be seen and suddenly they're in main events.

Ken Patera too, but all I know about Ken PAtera is the car he stopped with his legs thing.

Oh I get it, this match is going faster and with some fairly quick elminations, cos the big guys will blow up within minutes otherwise.

The Orndorff vs Rude segments have gone pretty well so far though.

Is this going to end up being Hogan vs Andre? like nuooooo.

yeah, essentially they're leaving Rude and wonderful do all the wrestling and then they do some spot with an elmination, then its back to them!

OH NOES WONDERFUL IS NOW OUT! His push at the top feels like its coming to an end. Also they keep calling Don Muraco "The Rock".

The best wrestler left now is Bam Bam, but he ain't really done anything up till now. But The crowd for this PPV has been nothing short of incredible.

so uh, Hogan and Bam Bam vs OMG, Andre and King Kong, so uh yeah if Bam Bam gets eliminated, then this is the worst match ever.

Welp this match was so long they didn't even pretend to skip ahead, man that filler must have been crazy crap.

This is probably the worst SvS ME ever.

Well I liked sporadic moments of each match, but man too many bad workers on the card and some of the WORST FINISHES EVER!

Had Hogan got screwed over I wouldn't have had any problems with him taking out his frustration, but he lost via his own blunder which is about as clean a loss as he you can have for him right now.

Actually Muraco isnt THAT old by this point(late 30s), and still has being the first ECW champion left on resume. But by this point most of his signature matches have come and gone.

Likes hes pretty well known for his matches with Snuka, Backlund, Steamboat, and Piper, but all of that is pre-wrestlemania era.

I don't know who to root for, Rude is just too good and he's up against freaking Steamboat!

Rude's clearly on roids >_>, but no matter that never stopped a lot of wrestlers from being awesome in the ring.

Yes a tag match is the main event, I hate you life.

The Islanders vs The Young Stallions

Well, why on earth would you have a match post rumble?

I'm gonna need someone to tell me all the rumbles which don't have it as the main event, I know the one with HBK/Taker and I think HBK/Sid didn't main event and Angle/Mark Henry no?

Either way, the rumble just drains you, so having a match right after makes me sad.

Especially if i have to watch some extended Paul Roma and Haku action.

Not the worst tag match in the world, a lot of high flying from the Stallions, the Islanders are playing a more power based game here, Roma writhing in pain, countout?

oh this is a 2/3 falls match. Paul Roma is the big story.

We come back from commercial for a lovely Andre promo. Ted Dibiase talking is always good.

The seats in the crowd are emptying, when Hogan left, no one wanted to stay.

Plenty of bouncing off the ropes and diving, I've seen like a dozen dropkicks in this match

WOW, THE WINNERS OF THIS CONTEST IN TWO STRAIGHT FALLS, THE ISLANDERS, Roma selling like mad.

If this was the Usos wrestling as faces in ere instead I would be all over this.

Well, this was not the best rumble PPV ever, but it had a REALLY GOOD MATCH, what I didn't like, was that this felt more like a 3 hour ep of RAW than an actual Rumble, then again, this wasn't on PPV.

I dislike how in some of these early Rumbles, heels never square off with heels and faces never square off against faces.

'88 and '91 are the only ones like this but it really bothers me! It kills the entire concept IMO.

LETS GO JAKE!

This is good stuff, Rude is good wrestler, Jake the Snake owns so much, this is also quite fast paced.

So far this is the best match of the night, Rude wastin' time to show off posing to the displeasure of Heenan.

Ventura makes a good point saying this is a 15 min time limit match, wear down moves aren't the wisest of options.

Another good point, Heenan helps throughout the match, but Damien comes out after the match, big weasel chants.

The winner of this match is not winning their round 2 match. So weird seeing Roberts getting smothered like that.

BOOOOOOOOOORING, BOOOOOOOOOOOORING chants, crowd es dum. One long chin lock, Rude's such a heel.

The snake has wolverine esque healing powers.

It kinda takes the shine off having them two fight it out again with Hogan dominating.

Andre tied up in the ropes. Giant already down for some reason, Hogan is squashing him, but Andre is now choking Hogan.

Here's another choke, Hulkster's powers are waning, he is therefore more dangerous than ever!

Hogan fightin' back. Dibiase with a chair, HOGAN HITS ANDRE WITH A CHAIR, ANDRE HITS WITH A CHAIR, which one's DQd?

Well this kinda sucks, so much chairshotting. Virgil thrown to Hogan and gets suplexed for his troubles.

Both men have been DQd and Hogan randomly Slams the Giant.

two very tough matches. Sure he got help on one of them but still that like 15 minuts of hard fighting.

Greg "The Hammer" Valentine vs Randy Savage

Winner faces the right to face OMG, so far this mania's had plenty of good but not great matches and the not good stuff has been horrific.

Greg is a better opponent than Butch Reed imo, Randy in trouble, he's already being dominated. I think the crowd is starting to get burnt out.

Liz lookin' worried. Macho Man wrestlin' on instinct his comeback is awesome and nobody does the double axe handle better!
