"Test" games on the Wii succeeding (RE4, RE:UC) with no follow up support?
Taking games in directions that abandon existing fans to try to capture audiences that never will be fans?
Releasing superior versions of games only a year after the games they completely overshadow and invalidate? At a lower cost?

Capcom has been crap for a long time now. This isn't really the result of unfortunate timing. It's a company with unfortunate business practices that has been gaining hate over a long time now. It has merely hit a fever pitch. They would not have done very well a week ago, or even a month ago. Capcom has been taking the p*** for a very, very long time now, and the only difference is that a few more people realize it now.

That's the point, they're getting worse over time. Assuming that people stay addicted and Capcom doesn't go out of business because lets face it, fighting game addicts aren't the brightest crowd, that's where I project them to be in 10 years.

Shuma was 100% complete. Jill had a few voice files missing and people used to think her gun super was not finished since it did so little damage, but it remained the same.

Only DLC it got was patches that nerf Sent's health and removing infinities.

Capcom has drawn MAJOR heat because they killed there mascot off the face of the earth. You don't cancel Mega Man games, and you don't reject your mascot from being a Marvel vs Capcom game.

I honestly don't know how to react to this. Woah.
I pretty much loathe Capcom's business practices, but I can't deny that UMvC3 and SFxT (especially SFxT) look pretty great. There's still some worth in them, but if they keep going like they're going they're going to be in quite a rough spot.

wait, people actually BELIEVED that fake Protomen cease and desist notice? I could tell the moment I saw it that it was fake. Unprofessional language, spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors everywhere. Then the fact that the Protomen are completely original music inspired by Mega Man, not direct covers like most game music bands so they're copying almost nothing at all from Capcom. But most of all, the date on the email says February 2011, and this news was supposedly just coming out yesterday? yeah, knew it was fake without even looking anywhere else when someone linked me to it
