I'm not sure what you mean? Typically anime runs in 12 episode seasons but there are variations.

Now, ASMR has been watered down to just people talking gently into microphones. Pass.

That was never ASMR. That was just binaural audio.

ASMR was originally particular noises designed to stimulate a certain tingly feeling in the spine. But when the term went mainstream, it grew to encompass all audio experiences, from audio-only porn to the barbershop illusion. Now it's basically meaningless.

Asmr actually gives me a feeling if anxiety. In particular, the recipe channels where they cook in silence. The sterility of it bothers me tremendously.

I like ASMR but I hate any sounds made with the mouth, including talking. I only like tapping, scratching, etc.

I love the sound of Racoons eating dry food. That is as close to asmr as I get.

I haven't watched any in years but I definitely got that tingle/goosebump feeling when I did. Looks like it got a lot stranger over time, though

You're not alone. Asmr genuinely has the same impact on me as nails on a chalk board.

While most ASMR is perverse nonsense, I tend to be a fan of fatherhood ASMR, where a gruff overweight man in his forties softly tells me he's proud of me and calls me sport.

It's generally more sound than visuals, but you have people who do slow movements. I only care about the sound.

I imagine podcasts are impractical? Or can they do binaural with podcasts?

The stuff that's done in ASMR is different from ambient sound videos, although you'll sometimes get spammed by ambient sound videos if you open an ASMR video... and there are countless fucking ambient sound videos, none of which are useful. Ambient sound never really worked for me.

There is a certain amount of ambient sound passed off as AMSR (or at least tagged as ASMR), but it's a very small amount even compared to the weird "Is this ASMR?" videos.
