Cartridge88 10/22/17 1:37:18 AM #1:	B, Fight with Magic You throw a charge at her. "Inazuma!" It explodes with lightning! But Kitten gets that plastic tray shield up in time. "Aha!" she says with an arrogant smile. "My plastic is immune to your electricity!" "You're thinking of rubber," you say. "That plastic is burning." Kitten sees the flames and freaks out, wildly throwing her shield away. She then refocuses, growling at you. She swings that sock weapon again, you block with simple barriers. Kitten hits the barrier again and again, and again, but can't break through. She runs out of energy for a moment, breathing heavily to catch her breath, then starts swinging and striking the barrier again. "Give it a rest," you say. "You're not getting through." "Maybe not," she pants, a grin on her face. "But I am distracting you." You're grabbed from behind! About half a dozen burly adult women inmates had gotten behind you, and now you're struggling to get free. "Alright, hold still," Kitten says as she drags a flippin' sledge hammer over! "This'll only hurt forever!" "Inazuma!!" You emit the lightning from your own body to electrify the convicts holding onto you. Sparks fly off and keep Kitten and her hammer back while you're freed from their grip and fall to the ground. You hurry to your feet and bring that hammer to you with magic. You shackle the prisoners together, anchoring them all to a central point, which you literally hammer in with the hammer you took from Kitten. "Give that back!" Kitten shrieks as she jumps on you. You use magic to send the hammer flying, the rioting convicts get clear of where it lands. Kitten suddenly begins clawing at your hair and head! "OW! Little prat!!" You sling her off of your back and go to grab her with Binding magic but she's slippery fast as she scurries away. You chase after and catch a glimpse of Raven using magic to defend against Clea's incredible strength. "Hammer!" Kitten shouts at the others as she makes her way to it. "Gimme the hammer!" One of the other youth inmates hesitates as they go to the sledge hammer. They pick it up, Kitten takes it from them while shoving them down, then turns around to face you. She raises the hammer up, you knock it out of her hands with a quick blast of low level Arcane magic. Kitten falls over as the hammer flies away again, but then gets up in a huff as she simply rushes you without weapons. You hit Kitten with Disorientation magic, and she stumbles from being dizzy. She wobbles and wavers as she tries to get up again, you bind her in several Shining Shackles, and pin her to the ground. "Now that that's over," you say under your breath as you stretch out your back. Rioting inmates keep making a mess of the buildings, smashing windows and throwing things from inside to the outside. You run over and enter the building. Every inmate you see, young or old, you kick whatever they're holding out of their hands, then use Binding magic to drag them along by the chains. You soon amass a cluster of about a dozen and bring them all out of the building through a side entrance. "Inazuma!" you shout as you sling the criminals at the barrier you created. Not only is that cluster of captured criminals stunned with electricity, but more would-be escapees are stunned off the side of your barrier, for approximately 30 neutralized inmates. You see riot squad having trouble with a group of muscular young males, you run over and use Disorienting magic to weaken the inmates. The police overpower and handcuff them as you move on. More inmates work to be arsonists as they light trees on fire. You toss several magical charges their way. "Mizu! Ame!" BWOOSHHH The charges explode and rain water on the trees, putting out the flames. As for those trying to set things on fire, you use Druid Nature magic to cause the grass under their feet to grow long enough to wrap around their legs and bind them together. The aspiring arsonists fall over, you use more Nature magic to add roots into the binding. There are still dozens of inmates running wild around the area, so you must use something to get them all at once to get this over with. You gather a lot of energy and transform it into Arcane energy. You also create Summoning Circles and summon as many squirrels as there are remaining inmates. You enfuse the Arcane energy into the squirrels and send them out. The squirrels all scurry and climb onto inmates on a one-to-one ratio. "Hey, get off!" one of them shouts as they try to throw the squirrel off. You tense the muscles in your arms, then bring your hands together for one loud CLAP, the Arcane-infused squirrels explode like flashbang grenades and stun the inmates in one go! The riot police come in and apprehend each one of them. "Raven," you say as you look for her. "How are things with this 'Queen Clea'?" "Oh they're fine," she says with blatant sarcasm. "She's just strong, sturdy, and knows some sort of Atlantean martial arts!" "On my way," you say. You run to where you last saw the two fighting, but they aren't there. You look around, and see they've somehow migrated to the roof of the middle building. You hurry over and use Barrier magic to act as a stairway up to their level. Raven is on the defensive against Clea's strong and broad swings of her arms and legs. You stand up, she thrusts both fists your way, you catch them in your hands, your chi helping strengthen your arms and legs to keep from being pushed back too far. "What magic is this that you can match the might of an Atlantean?" she says. "It isn't technically magic," you grunt as she keeps pushing. "And it's made in China." You lean back and let Clea's momentum carry her over you. You hold on to her hands, spin around to cross her arms over each other, and pin her hands to the roof. "Hit her!" you shout to Raven. Raven dives from above, feet first, but Clea is quick enough to bring her legs up. Her feet and Raven's feet make contact, Clea shoves Raven away but Raven has both agility and levitation to adjust and land right-side up. Clea sits up and throws you forward, you hold on even as you hit hard on the roof's concrete. Clea stands over you and raises a foot, you throw her off balance by pulling on her arms. You stand up as she stumbles, you uncross her arms to then pull her up into a knee strike to her chin. She staggers back but stays standing, then rubs her jaw. "You weren't lying about her being sturdy," you say to Raven. "Azarath, Metrion, Zinthos!!" Raven shouts. With her magic, Raven causes the dust and gravel of the roof to kick up into a dust devil that surrounds Clea. "Very nice," you say as you put up your scarf to cover your mouth and nose. Clea coughs as she struggles against the swirling dirt. She soldiers through the whipping wind, you focus as much chi as you can into your right hand. It becomes such a concentration of chi, your hand even starts to glow. "Raven, be ready to drop the whirlwind," you say. You take a three point stance, then launch yourself into full sprint, right at the eye of the dust devil. "HAH!" Raven shouts as she breaks it apart. With the dust and wind out of the way, you see Clea clear as day, and BAM your fist thrusts in and punches her square in the sternum. Clea flies back and slides on the concrete, stopping only because she bumps into an air-conditioning unit. "What?" Clea coughs and sputters as she tries to sit up. "What technique was that?" "Ancient Chinese secret," you say. "The Iron Hand." "Hits pretty hard," Raven says. Raven binds Clea with her magic, then drags her along to round her up with Kitten and the other convicts. With all of them accounted for, you and Raven drop your barriers to allow the rest of the police officers to enter the area. "So what exactly is the story here?" you ask the two masterminds. "I do not answer to you commoners," Clea says. "Yes! We do not answer to commoners!" Kitten adds. "You ARE a commoner!" Clea and Raven both shout at her. "You are not my daughter, my sister, or even a cousin!" Clea shouts into Kitten's face, causing the younger to fall over. "You are just some child who approached me, acting like you knew me, and then concocted this plan to break out and take over the island. Granted, it was an intelligent and effective plan, until we ran into this witch and man with blue hair." "Blue?" you say, before remembering the chlorine's affect on your hair's snow white quality. "Right... Blue hair, yes, this is blue hair. Also, I wasn't really asking about this prison break, it doesn't really matter. "Pretty sure she's tried to take over Atlantis as well as Themyscara a few times. As for Kitten, she's one of ours. The daughter of Killer Moth, or so she said, she tried to use Robin as a way to get back at her spider-headed ex-boyfriend only to make up with that ex the same night. There were some side adventures where she claimed to be the daughter of various other enemies, which were all lies, so in the end, we have no idea whose daughter she is, and no idea how she got here." "She made a move on Robin?" you say. "I'm guessing Starfire didn't take kindly to that." "Oh, yeah, Starfire and Kitten had a cat fight through a junior prom punch bowl and cake." "I'm more surprised Kitten's still able to walk." "With all the damage done to this facility, we're not sure where we can stow all these prisoners," one of the prison guards says. "Not a problem," you say. "One moment please." You go over to Shadowfax and your knapsack and bring out the moon dust. "You remember how to use this, yes?" you ask Raven as you give her some. "Sosomme Tidiare." "Correct. Let's use this to fix the parts of the building these rioters wrecked and ransacked." Raven nods, she flies around while you walk, and it takes some time but you do return the prison buildings back to the state they were in before this prison break attempt. The prisoners are all returned to their cells, save Kitten and Clea. "Thank you for helping save my prison," a man, apparently the warden, says to you and Raven. "How can we repay you?" "There's no need for that," Raven says. "Though, we would like to know what you have planned for those two." "We're going to need to work on prison transfers for these two," the warden says. "Could you help us keep an eye on them? You're the only two strong enough to really handle them if they try something again." "Certainly," you say. "But Rorek," Raven whispers, "I need to get changed back into my other clothes." Raven nods and flies away while the warden returns to his office with some of the higher ranking police officers. "Oh great," one of the officers says. "Here come the reporters." "What took them so long?" one of the others jokes. "Alright, form a perimeter," the highest ranking available officer says. "We can't let these people swarm the place." The police head to the front, where the news fans are all pulling up, and form a solid line with their shields. Cameramen rush forward, as do the reporters with their microphones. "What happened here?" one of the newscasters asks. "Who started the prison riot?" another asks. "What stopped it?" a third asks. "Who is that young man with the blue hair?" a fourth asks. You see Kitten take notice of the cameras and media, and her eyes light up while her mouth curls into a devious grin "Daddy~!" Kitten shouts at the media. "Daddy, help me~...! "Zeus!?" you and just about everyone but Kitten says in disbelief. "There's no way," you say. "That's impossible!" Clea adds. "Daddy~!" Kitten says. "It is I! Your daughter and Goddess of Chaos, Eris!" "Oh give it a rest!" you say to her. "You're no more his daughter than he is the Greek God of Lightning." Upon further inspection, you see there is a machine levitating within that cloud, in which case the cloud is just a disguise. "Wait a tick," you say. "Zeus... A lightning machine... You're Maximillian Zeus! I just heard about you on the news the other day! How did you get to Hawaii from Gotham that fast?" "Never underestimate the power of a god!" Zeus booms. Get out of here!" you shout at the police and news people. Those news vans don't hesitate to burn rubber, the police simply fall back to the intersection roadblock. KRAKOW KRAKOW~! The lightning strikes your Guardian shield as Zeus decends. "Be free, my Daughter of Discord," Zeus says as he hops down from his cloud. For being a delusional billionaire, Zeus is a rather muscular man, and he snaps the handcuffs off of Kitten. "And who is this?" Zeus asks in reference to Clea. "Enyo, Goddess of War and Sister to you and Ares?" "Pff, no," Kitten says. "Just some mortal. Leave her here." Clea growls as Kitten and Zeus walk back to the cloud-jet. "Wait a moment, daughter," Zeus says. "Could you not have used your golden, gleaming Apple of Discord to free yourself from those mortal bonds?" "Uh... N-No, great Father Zeus! For that bad man took it away from me!" Of course she points at you. "That magician took my Apple and bound me with his magic," Kitten adds. Zeus looks at you with those eyes clouded with his own insanity, but can clearly see the magic you're using. "Son of Orpheus!" Zeus says. "Cultist! Dissenter! You spit in the face of the gods!" Zeus' face turns to rage, he lifts Kitten as he jumps back up onto his cloud-jet. "How dare this mortal defy our divine authority," Zeus says as he works to purposefully aim his machine's lightning at you now. "Daughter, change from those shameful rags of mortals and back into your heavenly robes." Kitten looks at her prison jumpsuit, then around on the cloud. "Yeah... I would... but, uh... It's part of his magic! He wished to humiliate me even beyond stealing my Apple and making me his prisoner." "No matter," Zeus says. "There is an abundance of power up here to restore you." Zeus presses a button and a curtain rises up from the floor to surround Kitten. The surprised Kitten is suddenly under attack from robotic arms, which strip her of her jumpsuit and force on some sort of toga dress. The curtain drops down, Kitten stands there in designer sandals, her hair is braided and adorned with a matching golden laurel wreath. Kitten is twiggier than Jinx so that toga drapes very loosely on her. "Thank you, Father," Kitten says as she fidgets with the slipping shoulders. "Now, let us smite this... uh... this! Heathen!" "Yes!" Zeus says. "This defiance shall be wiped from the face of the Earth with one swift and devastating strike!" The lightning machine, completely aimed at you, powers up a lot of energy. "Bring it on, you bas--!" "Azarath, Metrion, ZINTHOS!" Raven's magic hurls an entire TREE at the cloud machine! The energy in the lightning cannons discharges and sets the tree on fire, and the cloud itself wobbles and swerves around the parking lot. Zeus scrambles to rebuild the energy in his lightning cannons, Raven flies over head to use magic to pull at the machine itself. "Leave us be, Denizen of Dis!" Zeus shouts at her. "We have done nothing to raise your ire, guardian of Tartarus!" "Also wrong," she says. Zeus tries hitting you with lightning, but you use chi to boost your speed and stay ahead of the bolts. "Hold still that I might smite you, magician!" Zeus shouts. "No thanks!" you say. "I'm still on holiday." You feel yourself running low on mana but you still put enough into your right hand for Sound magic and then some into your left for elemental. "Butio!" you shout. BWOOOOOM Sound booms from you hand like a heavy bass line, and it rumbles and shakes the base of the flying machine. You put left and right hands together to share the elemental magic between them both. "Ignis!" you shout, left hand on back of the right, index fingers out while the others are folded. FWOOM A giant fireball launches and hits the cloud, evaporating some of its fog to expose the jet turbines underneath. "Are there any other weapons on this thing besides the lightning?!" Kitten shouts. "Of course!" Zeus says, realizing it for himself. "Hephaestus himself crafted the Armory of Olympus!" Zeus presses another button, and another compartment pops out of the machine. "Arm yourself, my daughter!" Zeus says as he helps her with the many items from within. "The Aegis of Athena!" He slaps a shining breastplate onto Kitten. "The Armor of Achilles!" he continues as he puts shining wrist and leg braces on her. "Complete with shield!" He gives her a massive shield, just as round and intricately designed as in the Iliad, but it almost topples her over from the weight. "And finally, the bow and arrows of Eros!" Zeus says as he slaps a quiver on her back and shoves a bow into her other hand. "Finally," she says. "Something I can use!" She pulls an arrow out of the quiver and puts it on the bow string, pulling to take aim at you. You use more chi to speed up, she fires zwip but it misses several yards behind you. "Starting to wish I was the daughter of the Green Arrow," Kitten growls as she takes aim again. zwip She fires another arrow. "Kaze!" Raven shouts. Wind blows the arrow off course, and Kitten growls as she glares at Raven. "Fine, you want some?!" she shouts as she puts another arrow on the string. zwip Kitten fires again, but Raven uses more wind to redirect it. Kitten yelps and puts up the shield, defending herself from her own attack. However, the arrow doesn't even come close to hitting her, it finds its way into Zeus' posterior! "Ouch!" You grab her with Binding magic and drag her back. "You stupid brat!" she shouts at Kitten. "You couldn't let me get away unnoticed!?"
