The incident at the prison wasted time but sundown has only just begun, so you have no reason to go to the Nu'uanu Pali Lookout yet.

"Do you want to get dinner now or after visiting the lookout?" you ask her.

"We should eat now," she says. "Kalapawai Market might not be open after."

You back track to Kalapawai Market and see it has its dinner rush coming in. You park back around the corner like earlier, and the two of you walk to the diner.

"Our heroes!" the manager says. "Whoa, what happened to your hair, bruhda?"

"I made the mistake of getting into a chlorine pool," you say. "I'm sure it'll wash out."

"Ah, sure, sure," he nods. "Now, let's get you a table."

He personally leads you to a table at the center of the room, a waiter gives you menus.

"Don't worry, we'll pay for the meal in full this time," you say.

"In that case, may I interest you in a full rack of the Barbecue Glazed, St. Louis style ribs?" he chuckles.

"Oh yes, that would be good," you say. "But, um, as we're not old enough for wine, could we have more coffee?"

"Of course," he says. "Interested in any soups, salads or sides yet?"

You glance at the menu.
