The first three are straightforward, and feel free to join both men's groups if you want. As the last one alludes to, you are supposed to flip a coin (physically or virtually) for each matchup.

I don't know if the invite links sidestep the group password requirements, but if not, I would assume it is the same across the board.

Didn't like the format of the ESPN. They put all the team stats at the bottom. I know nothing about NCAAB and just pick the teams with the biggest point differentials, and I couldn't be bothered to scroll all the way down 63 times, so yay for chalk.

Miss having the 538 website so I could RNG based off the percentages there.

The boss button on ncaa.com gets worse and worse every year.
They literally don't try with it anymore, it's just links to bracket stuff now.

the espn layout this year is horrendous, we were talking about it in the discord how it apparently just auto adds a bracket you make to each group you join or something if you used the link, you had to do some weird process to get them sorted out.

Very nearly picked Duquesne, like one of the last games I picked in the whole bracket cuz I was waffling. At least I have BYU out next round. Missed on Nevada too, otherwise so far so good.

I had Kentucky losing to Marquette. Kentucky was a fraud team who the analysts always talk themselves into because they have so much talent.

I wrestled with taking Marquette there but thought I was letting my hater tendency take over so I backed away.

Oakland win is huge for my coin flip bracket

Setting Tennessee aside this could be a devastating window for me. Samford was always a longshot but Drake and Texas Tech could also lose and have me end the day 0-3.

Went against the 5-wins-in-5-days momentum for NC State thinking they'd be a bit gassed and unlike UConn that time they don't have Kemba Walker but I may regret that...!

Samford potentially robbed. Absolutely incredible defensive play and block when they were down 1 with ~15 seconds but it was called a foul. Replay showed it was a clean block but can't be reviewed, game basically over there.

Can't know if they would have scored down 1, but after the FTs they were down 3 and missed the tying attempt at 3 and welp.

I've never seen a more beautiful block in all my life.

Samford deserves better

Still haven't lost a Final Four team, so I'll take that as a small victory for now.

Yeah, I lost Auburn and UK from my Sweet 16, but my Elite Eight is also still intact!

(I also lost McNeese but I was gambling on the rare 12 vs. 13 second round match with Samford beating Kansas too)

Two days in a row where I might have an otherwise okay day get annihilated in the last window. GCU in particular will hurt if they pull it off. Originally had them winning but this was one of my few actual switches.

I had a pretty strong finish last night. Concluded round 1 with 23/32.

I finished with a 24 / 32 and only lost 1 S16 team. (New Mexico)

In the family pool we've got going my 9 year old daughter stands alone in first with 25/32. she picked Yale, Grand Canyon, James Madison , Oregon & NCStste but also made some foolish picks like Sdk St in the elite 8.

I also concluded round 1 with 23/32, but it certainly wasn't a good round for me!

I didn't enter any of B8's Contests but I went 25/32 and only lost 1 S16 team in Auburn. One of the best opening rounds I've ever had and I spent about 5 minutes filling out a bracket Wednesday night.

Looking forward to it getting obliterated after the weekend games.
