Iirc Geoff mentioned some time before the show aired that they were not going to make political statements last time because it wasn't the place for it, then people online called that out as bs, so in the show proper there was a small, non-specific token message about it.

No Starfield isn't that surprising. I think a lot of people are souring on Bethesda. Souring may not be the best word, but at this point, you kind of know what you are getting into. It's a Bethesda game, they've all been following the same formula since Skyrim. The problem is that that formula isn't evolving, it's changing, but not in a good way. It's stale and boring.

Alan Wake tied for most nominations, so happy to see it.

-Hey, I got 6/6 (accounting for my late swap lol), even though SFVI probably would have been a better pick than RE4.

Alan Wake 2 marks Remedy Entertainments first foray into the survival horror genre.

Alan Wake 1 and 2 are completely different types of games, yes. First is an action horror shooter while the second is legit survival horror.
