Stuff that don't require very accurate button presses with precise timing. I'm not going into detail on why, but it should be obvious at this point.

Oh, I'm not sure why - but sure. I'd recommend most the basic RPGS like FF4, 5, 6, Golden Sun, Minish Cap and such, Pokemon of course

Megaman Battle Network 1 and 2 are good, but they are rather twitchy so might not be a good fit.

Demikids might be ok, I have them but haven't played them

And you really can't go wrong with Advance Wars

Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation 1&2 (theres a better version for ps2 but it's not in eng and never will be. the sequel after this (2nd OG) isnt in eng, but the next game after that was released in southeast asia with an english version)

super robot wars games are similar to fire emblem games, but they focus more on ammo, energy conservation, and each mech having multiple moves with different properties (whereas the only in-battle choice you have with FE characters is usually what weapon to use). the mainline games center on famous mecha series, but the Original Generation line combines the meta-plots of all of the originals they made up for other games into a couple fully-original games

its completely turn based and most of your time will be spent watching very cool flashy attacks (gba isn't super flashy but what can you do)

pls play them

and then eventually the newer games on other systems

Hamtaro: Ham-Ham Heartbreak, along with the previous game on GBC, Hamtaro: Ham-Hams Unite!

Summon Night: Swordcraft Story

Drill Dozer is worth a look. Action game from GameFreak, but no split second stuff, so could be fine.

For non-actiony stuff for sure Advance Wars 2 and the first Fire Emblem game are worth getting.

Also Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2 is lots of fun. Gotta stress this is the second game though, the first one was ass.

Thanks for the suggestions, dudes.

BTW, how playable do you think Circle of the Moon is with hampered controls? That was the only GBA CV I never beat back in the day.

I do know that they're making a CV GBA collection, but I don't really feel like buying a whole collection to play 1 game.

Circle of the Moon is very playable, it's among the slowest of the castlevanias even when using speed boosts

There's no chance he's going to play them legitimately so slow gameplay is fixed with the space bar.

Just that it is my problem playing some games. GBA is tiny and I get painful cramps. -_-

See if you can get a cheap 2DS and hack it. That can then play GBA games by making custom VC stuff.

A custom firmware PSP is one of the best emulation devices in portable form to this day. A wide variety of emulators and it's nowhere near as cramped to use the device like a GBA.

PSP is nice as well, but easier to find a SD card locally, while PSP needs an adaptor. So between that and a 2DS (or 3DS), I'd say it would depend on the native games if you are going into those.
