Seattle feels perfectly set up for a 17-13, 20-13, or similar loss, at some point in the playoffs.

Their record is smoke and mirrors. They would've lost to the 49ers 16-12 if not for a late 4th and goal conversion.

Buffalo -6.5 and TB -7.5 are both too low and I expect both to rise to at least ~9.5

I wouldn't be surprised to see Tampa close around 12.

I wouldn't touch the others, though I expect the Ravens to win easily they have to earn that trust.

Oh, they've been fraudulent the last couple seasons. Wilson bails them out of a lot of potential losses, and I figure he's got at least one playoff win he pulls out of his butt.

I feel like the gap between this Bucs team and the WFT is smaller than the gap between something like the 07 Pats and 07 Giants. Brady is 1-3 lifetime against the NFC East in the playoffs, I wouldn't just assume that next week is a W.

None of that has any real correlation of course but I'm choosing to use it to mean that Brady will lose.

There's a major difference to how these teams reached this point though.

The Giants had just knocked off GB and SF on the road to set up the matchup. WFT needed to be handed games by sub-.500 to set up the matchup.

Realistically speaking, that Giants team, who almost defeated the Patriots week 17 that season, had no business being a 12 point underdog.

And yes, it was one of the worst teams (by regular season stats) to ever win a Super Bowl, but that spread was still pretty ludicrous.

Tampa being a 12 point favorite over WFT here feels pretty ok. Anything between, say, 10.5, and 13.5, feels fine, though personally I'm probably picking it close to 20.

I guess I don't love Lawrence so I feel like the Jets will get the best QB in the draft, but, they are the Jets. I feel like whoever they get will be a backup on the west coast in 6 years

I know Aaron Rodgers is gonna be MVP but man I'd probably give it to Josh Allen

I feel we should be taking multiple QBs in every draft until we can find the right one because I'm not sure Bill is keen on paying old vets 15-20 million per year

anyone that's even remotely close to a franchise QB will not get paid in NE let alone get a chance to test the open market or want to come to our situation

I'd actually be hyped if Stafford went to the Pats. Competent coaching and a potential competent defense could do him wonders. Issue is they have no skill players so I'm not sure any QB would move the needle all that much until they revamp the entire offense, other than the OL and RB positions.

1. I'm pretty sure that you have to be self-quaranteened off-site if you test postitive for COVID.

2. I'm pretty sure that you have to be on-site in order to coach and maybe even in designated areas like the sidlines or whatever those rooms upstairs are with team personnel.

I'm not convinced Tua will be a bust. He's coming off a couple of serious injuries, had no training camp or preseason, and just wasn't ready year one. If he's still mediocre next year, then maybe, but I'd give him a pass this year.

Still, if you can get Watson, get him because you already know he's great.
