The only $60 that I've spent on games in this generation were Smash Ultimate and Mario Maker 2. So by that metric it's Ultimate by a (relative) long shot. I have "only" 250 hours in it which puts it at a distant 4th place out of all games on my Switch profile.

Man, the Switch is such a goddamn good console.

Actually it might have been Disgaea 1. Love the game but it crashes so often on switch its unplayable.

Lets go eevee is also an unfinished game I couldn't manage to play for more than a few hours.

Shout out to little town hero which was also terrible but not 60 and RDR2 which might have the biggest boring/effort put in ratio of any game I've ever played.

By default, it's Borderlands 3, because it's the only game I've bought at $60 (or above) in the last...I dunno, 8 years?

I guess I sort of paid $60 for MH:W when my friend bought me the game, so I bought us both the expansion when it came out, and that was $30 at the time. I played less Monster Hunter than Borderlands.

I've barely played Overwatch and I sure have no desire to go back to it, but I think I only spent $40 on it. Otherwise, Civ 6 takes this by default even though I thoroughly enjoyed most of my time with it.

I think it is probably FFXV. It wasnt bad, but was pretty deeply flawed at launch in particular.

Octopath Traveler for sure.

Sword/Shield was so much better than the awfulness of Sun/Moon that it felt like I was playing the greatest game ever in comparison and not a game that itself was very, very average.
