Crazy that people vote blue in the parts of the country where 85% of economic output comes from. Imagine how fucked up a red city would be. Just like last time and the woman who beat him still lost. The problem is that those who prefer a traditional democrat over a progressive one would still vote for the progressive one over Trump. But progressives true to their values will refuse to vote for a conservative candidate no matter what, so the democrats lose. The whole primary system is broken. you can talk about whatever motivations or dirty dealings go on with the DNC all you want but at the end of the day Hilary and Biden became the nominee because more people showed up and voted for them

I'm pretty sure they did. But the thing is that there might be more conservative democrats than progressive ones. People who voted for Biden over Sanders would most likely vote for Sanders over Trump. These people are loyal to the Democratic Party, so they'll vote for whoever represents it. But those who voted for Sanders over Biden would most likely refuse to settle for Biden over Trump. These people are loyal to their values, so they will only vote for someone who shares the same values. For progressives, both Biden and Trump are terrible picks, so they either refuse to vote or vote for Sanders as a write-in candidate.

It doesn't matter what Biden says he's for now. ESPECIALLY when he keeps on saying "Look at my voting record."

What matters is that he spent his entire career voting against the things he said he's for and very much voted alongside Republicans more often than not. Especially when it came to corporate whoring and the very crime bills that led to why we have the protests.

Biden is not the hero of this story. He is part of the problem. He doesn't even want to fight the Republicans. He just wants to help Republicans that don't say the quiet parts out loud get the party back from Trump.

It doesn't matter that Trump is worse. People don't want to feel sick to their stomach just to vote against Trump.

Say what you will about Hillary, but at least she knew not to play nice with Republicans. The DNC just gave the war criminal Colin Powell more screentime than AOC, the one Democrat people actually like anymore.
