There is a growing case of sliding standards in the Social Justice regions of fandom. There are now people who literally believe that anybody under 25 -- when the brain is supposedly done developing -- is "underage". I've seen it over in Fire Emblem fandom (e.g. people calling Sylvain underage in Three Houses when he is canonically 20 before the timeskip).

To say that things are getting out of control is a bit of an understatement.

Sounds like a great time to move the voting age to 25. Kinda overdue, really, since the period of adolescence is far longer today.

Yea, graveyard keeper was a very fun game to just dive into for a while, and then never touch again. Kinda weird how can a mediocre game disregard its quality/polish and be so addicting/satisfying.

Two more games of a similar vein I recommend are littlewood and forager.

Still watching Conan. Also, started playing Warframe, it's pretty cool, though overwhelming still. No idea what's going on half the time, but I do like chopping enemies in half.

Haven't played in a while. The game kinda gets boring once you realize how lame the gameplay loop is.

I am on Ch 144 of WataMote. Honestly the fact that this manga turned into a weird SoL yuri harem around a loner otaku was hilarious.

Just finished Shining Resonance Refrain. Clocked in at around 75 hours including post-game stuff.

Took nearly a year after purchase to finish it. I kept restarting the game because I found the beginning parts to be very clunky and slow and I'd lose interest. Forced myself this time to plow through until the game opened up and then I got really into it.

It's an above average game all in all, the gameplay and visuals are pretty generic but it has enough polish and unique elements for it to not get boring. The story is alright, typical "teenagers kill god at the end" jrpg stuff. The characters are what pull the story up though.

The music is also alright, though I was kinda expecting more since the game's central theme is around music, and you use instruments to fight. Only the special Songs you unlock and use in battle seem to have had the most effort put into them, everything else is pretty generic.

I will say though, in terms of voice acting, the characters are pretty good. I played the english dub, and I never felt the need to switch into japanese.

Now I don't know if it's due to the industry growing more or if it's specific to the genre, but jrpgs with a "music gimmick" seem to get english VA's that have voices that are strikingly similar to the japanese ones. Like, whenever you use those special battle songs, even though the voice is in japanese, it doesn't really sound all that different from the english VA, and you'd almost mistake them for the same person sometimes. I dunno just an observation.

Anyways, it's a better than alright game. I'd give it an 80 overall.

Probably gonna move on to Octopath Traveler next.

Restarted Domestic no Kanojo. Didn't like the vibe I was getting from the show the first time I was watching it, but I'm through 4 eps now. Should've just finished the first ep last time and I'd have kept going.

On the game side, I deleted Warframe. The game seems like it's going to be way more grindy and time consuming than I'm willing to commit to it, so I'm dumb with it. Maybe I'll give it a second go when/if I get a new gaming pc.

Who knows? You might find Santana, who once walked among us here. Every time I spot him on Steam, he is up to his eyeballs in Warframe.

It's a fine game with some good depth just very repetitive, not challenging and despite being as old as it is, there's really not anything to do.

I installed it to check up (It has been a while since playing) and played like 1 sortie (daily high level mission) before uninstalling it because the game doesn't really give you any reason to play besides mastery (which is just grinding levels of gear you'll never use).

Also they nerfed the hell out of melee (the main reason I Played the game).

Lol. I hate the event so much. I've only got two uncapped eternals, but have enough guns for Tien next at least though. Have no crew, so valor badges take forever to build up, which means less sunstones/evolites.

earth is by far my shittiest element

the others have aged better due to a combination of good characters and m1 weapons being alright, but earth? i'm... ygg swording...... at least i have some good newer characters (cain, alexiel) but not the super meta one (summer alexiel)

(i literally only play gbf for login rewards and gw since around the time m2 dropped)

I actually managed to do vanilla m2 earth, so I've got 3 axes, 2 katanas, and a 4* opus. My team can usually full auto nm100, but sometimes they fail, so I gotta revive 'em and let 'em get back to it to finish. Actually pretty happy with my earth full auto team. It's summer Vira, Mahira, and xmas Magisa in the frontline, with Medusa and Young Cat as the backline. Farming meat is annoying though, but I might do some today. Going to go for Eahata as my next uncap target. I've got Tweyen and Fif at 5* right now, with Tien waiting.
