Minus the stamina cost. :P But yeah, I do like taking on the trials, it's one of the things that keeps me coming back. I could probably knock a few more down, but each one seems to take quite a bit of setup and several runs to get down, so it's hard to really find the time to do it. I've still got three of the weapon trials (Tegmine, Aldehafera, Vindemiatrix), Armor of Oppression, the Bombs, Omega, and three of the Scorn trials (Intangir, Antenolla, 2-headed Dragon), so I'm still a touch behind.

My friends list is 60% Hyou right now.

What are his good moves? I dont know how to use this guy and do more damage than my Olive or Viktors do.

Slave and his fire/thunder moves. Use his T-cooldown for more damage.

To split atoms have both Hyoh use their lbs.

His turn 1 CD skill gives him a 200% attack buff and triple cast. From there you can use one of his imperils (Fire or Thunder. Both chain with Divine Ruination frames), then two Servant of the Blades (self capping move, also chains with Divine Ruination). His other CD skill is a stronger imperil/damage dealer (guess what it chains with.) His limit break does 30 hits, so two Hyohs doing limit breaks is pretty brutal.

Anybody able to take on the Estark trial? I can get him down pretty far, but he must be doing some sort of dispel because he's knocking out my Reraises, and my tanks are dying.

I have 45000 Lapis that I've been hoarding, probably close to 150-200 Tickets, and no idea what I'm even waiting for at this point anymore.

I have one Loren and one MS Nichol, so my first UoC will go to getting a duplicate of either of them, probably Loren.

I have several other 7* potential units, I don't even know anymore... Ace, Dark Veritas, Ramza, Lightning, Knight Delita, and Jiraiya.

Should I pull for Hyoh? Should I just keep stock piling Lapis and tickets for Xenogears (which who knows when that's coming)?

Xenogears should be around January by my estimation, though with collabs it can be tough to pinpoint exactly when.

Not pulling for 4 months, or however long, doesn't seem really all that appealing. Maybe I'll pull for Hyoh, but man I might be a bit bitter if I get Awakened Rain on the Step Up instead, and I'm not sure how good my Hyoh would be, or if my tools for TDH would be better spent on Tidus when his 7* does drop.

I'm just not sure what I should be doing for gacha at this point. Keep saving, pull for Hyoh, that kind of stuff.

Hyoh is the best DPS until Akstar and Xenogears which is months away.

Even his 6 star is powerful since it gets the dual moves.

I think I'm good there, I'll just UoC the second one in two weeks.

If you're always in the mindset of chasing after meta units, you'll never be satisfied with what you have, because the very nature of a gacha is that powercreep needs to be constant. So if you feel satisfied with the units you have, pull when you want to.

I'm down to Wilhelm vs Awakened Rain for my UoC ticket. I'm leaning towards Rain, but I've been going back and forth. I can just barely get WoL to 100% evasion for a physical cover tank (with 6* Wilhelm as my provoke tank), and I have Chow (and A. Rain) for magic tank duties. Any input is welcome. I don't really know much about Japan, so I don't really know what I'll need more in the future.

I don't think I intend to come back to the game any time soon but just for reference how quickly can you accumulate UoC tickets currently anyway?

I feel like I may have stuck with it longer if they existed sooner. It's a good idea!

Gumi has said they plan on at least two tickets per month being made available. So 5 months to get a UoC pick, assuming they stick with only two per month.

Even without he'd probably still be worth it just in raw damage alone. His TMR ability has 100% built in TDH so thats 1/3 of the way there as it is. Also if you use a 1H GS (which you should as Flaming Blade Agni/Dandelga/Tonitrus are the weapons you want to use) regular doublehand stuff (Killian Scarf/Doublehand materia) works towards the 300 DH cap as well.

Hyoh without any 5* TMRs besides his own can still break 1700 atk (with Agni or Tonitrus) without too much trouble. That's pretty damn nice for a chainer who can triple cast (plus it'll be really easy to find chaining partners for him.)

I always feel like Limited Event Trial Bosses should be a small challenge, but not nearly as difficult as to make it so only a handful of the populace can actually beat them in the short time they are out.

I had a pretty hard time with Estark overall. I'll admit I rely on the wiki a little too much, but when bosses use multiple abilities in a turn and it doesn't really give any indication on what happened, it's hard to learn from your mistakes. It took me three tries until it clicked for me that he was dispelling me, and another few before I understood that it was using instant death moves. If the stamina costs were cheaper it'd be fine, but 40 a pop for a failure is...pretty severe I think. And it's not like a tough trial that has absolutely amazing rewards to make it worth the investment; usually the rewards are nice, but not anything that really beats a serious trial or a TMR.

I wish I could message people in this game when I see their Hyoh with his STMR equipped so I can tell them what a waste it was.

With Viktor and Basch trading tank duties (when Basch got dispelled and needed his break), I comfortably beat Estark with all three missions.

I ALMOST missed the limit burst one with an errant Olive True Shot, but he managed to survive with 1% so I could finish him next.

The instant KO BS was annoying. There was one time it killed all 3 of my Hyohs. Of course it was the turn I used way of the void to get that triple for the kill the next turn.
