Look this contest is completely fine and every entrant is an Rpg but you should limit the number of games per series so that I more diverse list can be possible

tbh I was considering a five per series limit (10%) but decided not to add that rule mid-nominations. I should have done that from the start.

It's fine as is. Imposing artificial limits for the sake of forcing diversity is silly. If a game didn't get in naturally under this format, it's not like it'd go very far in the actual contest.

The Last Story is one of my favorite games, but I'm not gonna lose sleep over seven FF games getting in over it when it would most likely just finish in 38th place or something anyway. The most represented series are probably most represented for a reason.

I like the variety. Not even Final Fantasy is going overboard considering it's only 8 out of lord knows how many. Sad to see none of the South Parks made it in, but that's life.

I mean I'd rather see Breath of Fire III in than Final Fantasy IX or XIII pretty easily, but Final Fantasy Tactics is the actual one that got to 3 8th and I'd rather see it than any of the niche games that didn't get in so it's not like Final Fantasy is gonna be some sorta uber united front like you're expecting

No but he did and you were generally echoing his sentiment on other things so I just assumed you'd be of like mind on that

If you accept the Final Fantasy Series will be disjoint in who wants to see parts of it hanging around then I'm not sure why you think adding less popular series in lieu of parts of the series that got the three nominations will make things "more fun for more people"
