I mean 1:1 remakes - as in movie:movie or game:game - with the exact same story/characters. Not adaptations or reboots. Not enhanced ports or remasters. Not two different things with the same title. Direct remakes.

Maverick Hunter X Is better than the original MMX.
Powered Up better than MM1 too.

Ys 1 and 2 into Chronicles, Ys 3 into Oath of Felghana.
