Even before leaving college, I was already up to 11 >_> Some were seasonal, though, and a bunch were held concurrently because I wasn't getting enough hours. I was a full-time student while working 30-40 hours and keeping a 3.9 GPA.

If you're NEET, you're not really adjusting to it, though. The point of training, counseling, etc, is to be functional. Also, medication? I've known some pretty severely autistic people over the years and I can't recall any of them being medicated for it.

At any rate, if your problems were severe enough to provoke that kind of a response, I'm not sure why they brought you on in the first place. Surely they must have known from the interview.

I quit. It was going to be taken over by a new company, and that made all the other employees go crazy and start backstabbing, lying, manipulating, and sabatoging each other. When they targeted me, I just walked out. It wasn't worth the drama just to stick around and scrub toilets.

The medication was for seizures. And this was a long time ago.

And I don't remember an interview, I just gave a resume and they were like "you're hired"

lolwut? Doesn't look like many people here are holding minimum wage jobs right now. More importantly, the Federal minimum wage is like $7 or $8 now, with other areas set as high as $15 (Seattle). However, more generally, the American Dream isn't a matter of instantly becoming a millionaire, but working hard to become successful. Consequently, almost everybody can expect to start their lives working in low-paying jobs (especially minimum wage ones while in high school) and most people -- or, at least, those with ambition and a strong work ethic -- will do far better than that in the long run.

Pretty sure most forklift drivers make around $15 - $20 an hour, not $10.

It's about being able to do what you want.
The desire for more money is just you being a greedy animal for power.
It's the difference between enjoying your job and only enjoying the paycheck.
