Doesn't look like many people here are holding minimum wage jobs right now. More importantly, the Federal minimum wage is like $7 or $8 now, with other areas set as high as $15 (Seattle). However, more generally, the American Dream isn't a matter of instantly becoming a millionaire, but working hard to become successful. Consequently, almost everybody can expect to start their lives working in low-paying jobs (especially minimum wage ones while in high school) and most people -- or, at least, those with ambition and a strong work ethic -- will do far better than that in the long run. --- (\/)(\/)|-| There are precious few at ease / With moral ambiguities / So we act as though they don't exist. ...
