Patriots aren't that good. They play in a shit division that guarantees them 5-6 wins per year, which goes a long way to guaranteeing them a bye, which gives them rest against the terrible Titans, for example.

Jordan was eviscerating the 90s Knicks, Barkley, Drexler, all-time Jazz and Sonics teams. Yankees played in the most stacked division in the history of baseball 20 years ago and still won. Watching the Pats take advantage of a flawed system is not entertaining or impressive.

Yeah there's no denying that Brady has dominated every division. However, you can't deny the AFC East has been fucking shit in the Brady era. Chad fucking Pennington is the second best AFC East QB in the Brady era.

HA, no.

Rodgers, Brees, Watson, Wilson, Wentz, and Stafford are who I'd count as the 6. Wilson had a bad season behind literally the most penalized team in the league, imagine having one of the least penalized instead, especially behind an offensive line that didn't have its coach fired already.

It's true that they are bad and have been for a long time, but they aren't actually that bad. Like they usually win 5-10 games (and that's with having to play the Patriots twice a year). The second place team still has enough wins to win the AFC South most years! And the worst team is usually not in the East either, and even removing the Patriots it's not the worst division in the AFC most seasons

7, and had a passer rating of 103 as a Rookie, with a team that... literally was shut out at home the last time they were in playoffs. He's a QB that shined where... well, they had a lot of trouble with QBs before.

It's large enough to see what he could do. Brock Osweiler was heavily criticized as someone who couldn't read opposition defenses, which is where a lot of mistakes came in. He at least had DeAndre Hopkins to bail him out a lot more. Watson had two, Hopkins and Fuller, as well as an okay TE that he utilized well. Fuller started out okay last year but fell apart after a Hamstring, and similarly did not do well post Watson's injury. Clearly it's just Watson knew what to do with Fuller. On the Hopkins side... Hopkins was the WR who drew the most DPI calls this season. This takes a lot of trust out of his QB to throw to him in that 1v1 coverage. Sure, that answers him having a fantastic WR and isn't exactly the same as throwing to Cooks, Amendola, and White... but that's not a bad WR core to have. He also does not have a big name TE or really one at RB. The former was CJ Fiedorowicz and the former was between D'onta Foreman and Lamar Miller. Imagine having the best TE in the NFL and a top 10 RB, instead of what he had.

There's easy correlation to say that he'd do better, and with a weaker team he showed he could perform better than Brady. He just ended up injured because of that worse team.

Look up Stafford's record against teams with winning records.

Look up how many winning record teams the Patriots have played this year (at the time of their games). It's 9 (counting post season). 3 of those teams job to the Patriots anyway and one of those is the Buccaneers. I think Stafford's safe to beat them AND not job to Dolphins/Chiefs like Brady did. He'd still lose 3 other games and lose against the Titans in playoffs because Stafford, but yeah.

Yeah I'm done.

I will start ridiculing fans of the NFL from here on out, and I am further increase my support for the NBA. It's much more entertaining anyway.

Imagine the level of stupidity required for Patriots fans to sit there and look at a game where their team got called for zero offensive or defensive penalties and still believe they don't have the league and refs on their side.

At this point I'm convinced the Deflate Gate suspension was purely a false flag to try and make people think Goodell had it out for Brady.

Talking about teams that FINISH with winning records, kid. Fail strawman is fail.

And? Lions have made 3 playoffs since Brady has become an NFL QB. Going after minor comparison stats... Brady's longest pass was 73 yds... in 2005. Stafford has thrown 70+ yard passes in... 6 of his 9 years. Must be nice to not have to throw those long ones. Yards per pass attempt this year is tied at 7.9 for both, per completion... Stafford has .1 higher. Stafford has led his team with 32 Game Winning Drives in 9 years vs 52 in 18 years. Brady doesn't have as many (Average'd) because his team has been capable of not being behind for most games.

So now, if I specifically named stats that Stafford wins out on due to averages... but Brady has better stats overall... where am I going with this? I wanted to say Stafford under the same conditions as Brady would be a better QB, where's my proof? Mobility. Sacks are 35 to 47 through the regular season, Brady with the lower number. Now, we go to rushing yards and thus the ability to scramble. This is due to the difference in age, Brady being 40 and Stafford's 29. This year, Rushing yards per attempt is 3.4 vs 1.8. Stafford the higher one. Brady's total is 28 with a long of 7. Stafford's total is 98 with a long of 15.

So... Who would be sacked more behind the same line? Who would be pressured more and make more mistakes? Would Stafford still have 10 Ints if he threw on that team, or would he have a similar success... if not more success than Brady? That's the question that's asked, and I see Stafford having similar skills as Brady in many categories, while being more mobile and someone who is just as strong of a leader when his team is behind. Leading me to say that he'd have been better on this same team.

Deflate Gate was obviously goodell being forced to investigate so people wouldn't stop watching en masse, then having to double down when they actually uncovered a legitimate conspiracy.

But now we are watching the refs literally celebrate with the Pats after blatant no-calls and a literal rogue whistle that prevented the winning TD.
