it's so fuzzy and spicy, How does one simply enjoy the taste? I could never ever stand the taste of drinking soda! B to the L to the E to the C to the fat H!

But then all that changed

Last week as I was getting lunch I clumsily spilled my water so my co-worker offered to get me another drink, which turned out to be sprite (he thought I got that or something)
I didn't want to be ungrateful so I took it and with every sip my throat felt like acid!

But then, just today, I go to get my usual, with water, but then something inside me... something from the depths of my throat climbed out! "I'd like a medium sprite please"

It's kinda' good actually. I still don't want to like it. At the same time I kinda' like it. A medium was way too much though.

What kind of sodas do you guys drink?

I love the burn I get from chugging Barq's RB, Sprite, or Coca-Cola. My top three choices.

That reminded me when I went for lunch with my Indian buddy and ordered hotter food than him. He didn't say anything until after I tasted it. Laughing, he tells me "you don't order anything spicier than what the brown guy is getting" and he was very right.

I like soda a lot but I haven't had any for like 2 months. Mostly just coffee and water. I like it this way.

I don't like sweet sugary beverages.
I do like soda water in moderation. But not the big brand sour sugar drinks.
Tonic is ok, or when used in a mix.

I miss soda. Not that that's what it's called in my country, but I do miss it. I haven't been able to drink anything carbonated without seriously painful gut cramps ever since I had to have my gall bladder out. 5 years and counting :(

I didn't exactly drink the stuff that often to start with, but I do miss the occasional Coke, and I feel like such an inconvenient party guest nowadays - you'd be surprised how many get-togethers don't provide anything that isn't either fizzy, alcoholic or citrus juice. None of which I can drink. Sigh.

I didn't really either, but then I was watching a movie where one of the characters said something like, "you don't drink it for the taste, you drink it to get messed up." I couldn't really argue that.

Now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever known someone who just drank alcohol once and liked it solely for how good it tasted.

So many options, none of them ever taste good, never even feels like it wakes me up.

Eh, it depends on what the alcohol is. Polish blackcurrant liqueur is actually really nice. And cassis. I don't care much for anything else though. Not that it matters - morphine and alcohol don't mix =P

I drink Pepsi Max the most. Normally with alcohol added but I enjoy the taste without it too. I like any pop save for Ginger Beer. That's not my bag.

You absolutely drink for the taste otherwise you could drink any alcohol and wouldn't care. Alcohol has so many variations and your favourite would normally be down to it's taste. I don't mind being drunk but I generally like to last as long as possible otherwise my night out would be cut short rather quickly.

I used to love soda but in recent years don't care for it. I don't even miss it. I did drink some back in the summer but only because I was in a laundry mat that had no air conditioning or bathrooms. And the vending machine was out of water. I hated it.

I probably drink more types of soda than I don't drink. Haha. I switch around a lot. Though I have been really liking this Fruit Punch soda. It's pretty good. But I also love Sprite, All Fantas, etc...

For Alcohol, I usually do drink more so for the feeling. But that's usually at a party or something. But some are pretty good. And there was one that was called an Apple Pie Shot. That was good, too. But I can definitely understand not liking it.

As for coffee, I rarely drink it. But when I do, it has to be a flavored one, and I add LOTS or sugar and creamer. But I will say it does nothing to wake me up. Haha. But they ran out of soda while Inwas at work before i could go get lunch, I was really thirsty, and water wasn't doing anything for me.
