The biggest WTFs so far are Down to Earth, the Chip n Dale theme, and Strange Things being so low (and Following the Leader so high, even if it's just five spots). Especially Down to Earth. Unless this ranking's really stacked, which it probably is, I can't see it lower than top 75, if not top half period.

Also, not sure if Brave Little Toaster has any more, but I don't get Cutting Edge. It's low for me too. However, Worthless and It's A B-Movie wouldn't be on my list yet. And High School Musical? Kind of want to see how "Stick to the Stuff You Know" would do (as it's the only one in three movies I can listen to more than a few times).

I can't help it if you guys mostly nominate a lot of stuff I like...

80) The Phony King of England
From: Robin Hood
Nominated by: Emporer_Kazbar

This here is a good ol'-fashioned country croon(e?). It's cheery, it's funny, it's got that bear who reminds me of Baloo, who I love (Spoiler Alert: If you nominated a song in which Baloo plays a lead role your name ain't poppin' up for a while)... only problem is it's country-esque. Nooot my favorite genre of music unfortunately. >_>

~Kaz I should tell you now your name is gonna pop up fairly soon after this and then you're not going to see it again for a looong time.~

79) If I Didn't Have You
From: Monsters, Inc.
Nominated by: rychu_supadude

Hey this would probably be my favorite Randy Newman song... if not for Billy f***in' Crystal. He's got the most annoying voice and he's butchering this song for me. It's got this nice, upbeat groove that I'm lovin' and John Goodman steps in and blows it out of the water... and then Crystal shpws up. Ew. And then just when I think it's finally over, "One more time!" Nuuuuuuuuuu!

78) Topsy Turvy
From: The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Nominated by: BrettEagles

My second least favorite song from HoND. You would've been better off with Stay in Here or Court of Miracles (seriously). The one thing this one's got over God Help the Outcasts is it doesn't put me to sleep. Okay two things: it's also got some wicked fun visuals. Okay three things: that sexy Esmeralda dance- GOD I love that. In fact, here's just the dance:

I mean damn, just look at that. Esmeralda for sexiest Disney girl. I don't care if Jessica Rabbit is technically Disney, Esmeralda beats her at her own game dammit.

77) You Can Fly!
From: Peter Pan
Nominated by: rychu_supadude

This is pretty much the only song in Peter Pan that I like, and even then it's not very high up on my favorites list. Sounds pretty old-timey and stuff, which is cool in its own way, but I prefer the Renaissance era style of music, and you guys made sure to nominate a lot of those, so here this falls. Love the background chorus. Those female vocalists sound angelic. Lifts my spirits but not my ranking.

76) Supernova Girl
From: Zenon Girl of the 21st Century
Nominated by: Mega Mana

I flippin loved Zenon as a kid and I haven't seen it in at least a decade because Disney Channel has stopped airing it. Or if they haven't, I just manage to keep on missing it every time. I can't say I remember this song, but I quite like it. D'aww look at Raven.

75) Spoonful of Sugar
From: Mary Poppins
Nominated by: SpeedYoshi

It's so cheerful! I like her voice, but this kind of sounds like a circus song at times... Also song does not know when to end! And then children butcher it at the end (common theme here, etc.).

74) Happy Working Song
From: Enchanted
Nominated by: Raka_Putra

How funny that the spoof song is one place higher than one of the songs it is an homage to, the other I'm assuming, being that song from Snow White. I lol'd very hard at the "friendly animal companions" that came to her aid. I really need to watch more than the first fifteen minutes of this movie. Amy Adams has a lovely voice and I like the score for this one much more than Spoonful of Sugar. Plus better comedic elements.

73) Timon and Pumbaa Theme Song
From: Timon and Pumbaa
Nominated by: tazzyboyishere

This song... it's just Hakuna Matata with "Timon and Pumbaa" inserted at intervals and some sound effects interfering and no Jonathan Taylor Thomas or Matthew Broderick to spice it up. Not that this is a bad thing as Hakuna Matata is boss, but a part of me wonders why you didn't just nominate the original song! Guarantee it would've landed 6-8 spots higher.

72) We Belong Together
From: Toy Story 3
Nominated by: Mega Mana

Now that's what I'm talkin' about! I love the score for this song so much- trumpets, piano, and drum blending together in a beautiful medley of sound! But I'm not a fan of the chorus. I dunno, I think I was expecting something different. Still good though!

71) Perfect World
From:The Emperor's New Groove
Nominated by: 20three

I wish I could put this higher, I do, but y'all nominated some good stuff. I like this intro song so much. It's groovy. That disco singer is the greatest thing about this tbh. I mean, could you incorporate anything better than a mesopotamian guy with an afro who breaks the fourth wall by making you think he's just a part of the vocals until he actually appears and provides them into this? The answer is a resounding no! And when that guy throws off the Emperor's groove, the punishment is hilariously fitting: defenestration (he is thrown out of a window). But man I hate Kuzko. He's a jerk, and he interrupts his own theme song to be even more of a jerk. Still, fun song despite the rudeness.

~We are approaching the point where I like everything left, and it's only a matter of which songs I love more~

HM #8 Why Don't Ya Do Right?
From: Who Framed Roger Rabbit (which is now technically Disney but its copyrights belonged originally to Touchstone Pictures and no one nominated this so I'm putting it here dammit)

This song is sex. That is all.

DOUBLE UPDATE EXTRAVAGANZA

70) Robot Riot
From: Phineas and Ferb The Movie
Nominated by: Natwaf_akidna

Pram of all the P&F songs to pick from you chose this one? I'm guessing it's one of your favorites, because I think you nommed it for Raka's ranking thread too. Sorry, but I'm afraid it's not one of mine. In fact, no one nominated my favorite P&F song, but I'll be including it in the snubbed rankings for sure. Visually, it's a fantastic coalescence of Phineas and Ferb's entire summer, a gathering of all their inventions and a culmination of all their adventures... but I care almost nothing for the song. I prefer that other song from this movie- you know the one. With two Phineases and two Ferbs? That one.

69) A Night to Remember
From: High School Musical 3
Nominated by: Mik_Pick

Jesus H. Christ, they made three of these!? Why? Rhetorical question I can answer myself: as long as young Americans were eager to lap this crap up, Disney was willing to keep popping them out even if they decreased in quality (only saw 1 and 2- quality drop imo). Disney's so transparent these days... They should have just named this movie: Di$ney'$ High $chool Mu$ical 3: The $enior Year$ (Give U$ all Your Money$$$)

I bet this is gonna be awful. *listens* Oh. It's actually not bad. Not bad at all! In fact, the vocalists sound great, the choreography is good, and the lyrics are campy and fun. Give this a year or two to grow on me, and this could rise into my top 50!

68) Trashin' The Camp
From: Tarzan
Nominated by: MycroProcessor

Scat! I love scat. It's a sub-category of jazz and I love jazz (Spoilers: If you nominated a jazzy number you should be feeling pretty good about yourself right about now). It's not just gibberish- it's gibberish with feeling set to a funky beat! This song is pure unadulterated fun- just gorillas and company making noise, tearing things up, and, in general, "goin' ape". Not exactly a high-quality song from Tarzan, but I'll be damned if I say that its quirky charm hasn't gotten to me over the years.

67) I'm Still Here
From: Treasure Planet
Nominated by: Justin_Crossing

Man, I've seen this movie thrice and I've never really payed any attention to this song in its original context. Kind of like I've never really payed attention to this movie in general. It, along with Atlantis, are largely ignored by the Disney community for some reason even though they're both pretty darn good (I prefer Atlantis). Visually, like much of this movie, this song is stunning. I love how the atmospheric music shifts from some salty sea shanty (say that five times fast) to a pop/rock ballad at a moment's notice and that male vocalist sounds so soft and broken, yet powerful. I'm so tempted to rewatch this movie!

66) Summer Belongs to You
From: Phineas and Ferb
Nominated by: cody11533

Much better P&F song, but still hitting far from home. I love Candace's voice here and that little moment at the end with her and Jeremy is so <3. Even though I hate Phineas' nasally whale and Isabella's high-tuned whine of a voice, they both strangely enough just work within the confines of this song. I don't know how to explain it. By all means, it should put me off, but it doesn't!

65) Friend Like Me
From: Aladdin
Nominated by: Pokewars

Now, I know this fairly low placement might offend some of you, but hear me out. Seriously, hear me out, and then hear the song out without looking at the video in the link. I love Robin Williams to death, but he really does not sing this well. The problem is he's doing way too much in an effort to be fun. He's using about 8-10 different voices/afflections/accents/dialects/what have you and it's making the entire thing suffer. This really worked for me when I was a kid because I literally couldn't tear my eyes away from the screen long enough to focus on just the music, but it does not work for me now. RW creates a lively, versatile character in the all-powerful genie of the lamp, and an extremely fun song, but own its own the song cannot hold up to the higher standard of the songs yet to appear on the list.

However... I can't ignore nostalgia. I cannot cast aside the Disney magic this song filled me with in my youth, which is why I placed it here. Fun fact: this song moved up and down the ranks at least as many times as RW used different voices in Friend Like Me before this spot felt "right".

64) Streets of Gold
From: Oliver and Company
Nominated by: StifledSeagulls

Man, I love Rita's voice. Not much else to say here.

63) Feed the Birds
From: Mary Poppins
Nominated by: Raka_Putra

Was this song always so hauntingly beautiful? Yes? Man, where have I been?

62) Go the Distance
From: Hercules
Nominated by: 20three

I went through hell to find this video. Goddamn Michael Bolton video seems to be much more popular than the movie version. Anyway, I like this song a lot, but it takes a while to get going. Since it starts slow, it doesn't hold my interest until a ways in, but once it gets me, it gets me hooked. Very nice.

61) The Incredits
From: The Incredibles
Nominated by: MycroProcessor

Why have I never heard this? Ah, it plays during the end credits? No wonder. Lolpixar. You so silly. No one wants to sit through 7 minutes of credits just to hear this. That said, for something with no lyrics to draw me in and hold me, this is quite good. Smooth and rough jazz blended together in harmony. Music to my ears- literally!

HM #7 NO FEAR!
From: The Swan Princess

I used to love this movie as a kid. Someone had to beat into my head the fact that it was not Disney, because when I was a kid I was convinced every animated film was Disney and that this was one of the better ones. Nowadays I don't think it holds up as well, and even though vocally this is far from the best song in the film, it is the most memorable, and it is my favorite.

60) We Went to the Moon in 1969
From: Even Stephens the Musical
Nominated by: tazzyboyishere

Okay, so to start off I never watched Even Stevens devoutly. I might've caught a couple dozen episodes from time to time but it wasn't something I actively tuned in to watch (but I was all about Lizzie McGuire, That's So Raven, and some others). When the movie came out I'm pretty sure I watched it, but I don't remember this song. So essentially I'm hearing this for the first time. Here are my first impressions as they were made:

-This is kind of catchy, not bad
-... Uh... she's just saying the same things over and over again
- What the crap!? This blows! I'm putting this in last place
-Heh, that black kid refusing to join in is kind of funny
-Yeah, ok that was terrible, they can't seriously think that was good

*plot twist*

-YEEEESSSSSSSSS!!!! OMGGGG
-THAT BLACK KID IS ME!

*second plot twist*

-What an awesome dream sequence

*third plot twist*

-Goddamn, I love this stupid song now, mostly because of this:

So yeah, without the spinoff "Ren got an F" this would've done sooooooo badly.

I do have a short story on something similar that happened when I was in middle school if anyone is interested in hearing it

59) When I See an Elephant Fly
From: Dumbo
Nominated by: Emporer_Kazbar

I love the wordplay in this song! And I love the different crow vocalists. Not a bad placement for a humorous song. :)

58) Proud Of Your Boy
From: Aladdin (Scrapped)
Nominated by: Natwaf_akidna

It's powerful and emotional, but also kind of slow and I can't imagine where this would fit into the movie (which is why it got got). I do like the James Loynes version better than the Alan Menken version, but eh... Beautiful song, beautifully sung, but ultimately uneccesary.

57) What's This?
From: Nightmare Before Christmas
Nominated by: vcharon

What's this? Better question- why this? This has gotta be my least favorite song in NBC, but it's still rather high which should tell you how I feel about this movie's soundtrack in general (severely underrated). Anyway, there's a looot going on in this song. There's basically two tempos: fast, and faster. Because Danny Elfman is singing so fast it kind of sounds more like he's talking/screaming through the song instead. I do love when he slows down a bit and gets that sentimental tone to his voice... but then *gasp* the tempo switches again and he's right back to excitedly jibbering about the things he's seeing! It's really kind of cute though. He reminds me of a kid: "Aunt Genny, what's this? What's that? What's these? What's those! Wow!" I'm actually not an aunt, but I'm a cousin and a babysitter so yeah. Kids are cute, yo (even if they're tone deaf).

56) Out There
From: The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Nominated by: 20three

Oh, this song is filled with so much longing and emotion.. Tom Hulce's excessive vibratto can get a little overwhelming at times, but I forgive him for it because this song is so sweet. Quasi manages to look completely adorable and pretty darn ugly in the exact same instance which is quite a feat in and of itself.

55) Portobello Road
From: Bedknobs & Broomsticks
Nominated by: Mega Mana

I've never actually seen Bedknobs & Broomsticks, but I've heard about it before. This is a nice, spicy number with hints of flavors from many a different kitchen, all blended together in a delicious pallette of cuisine. I love the ethnic dancers in the middle of the song. Only one thing brings it down a notch. You guessed it: dem kids again.

Here's the thing about kids singing:

Well children are tone deaf for the most part. Sure, every once in a blue moon you'll get a Michael Jackson or a Johnathan Taylor Thomas, but usually it's just yelling out of pitch. Ever been to an elementary school musical production? Close your eyes and open your ears. Without the cuteness to soften the effect it's just a bunch of screeching. Mm... I've gone off tangent.

Anyway, good song that has inspired me to watch this movie when I have the time.

54) After Today
From: A Goofy Movie
Nominated by: ZaziGuado

I looooved A Goofy Movie as a kid, and still do to this day. This is THE quintessential summer song. You know the first time you saw this movie, you had this song stuck in your head the very next day-before-summer! I absolutely adore this song and it's in my top three of the movie. Unfortunately, people nominated the two I like better than it as well, and though it hurt me to do so, I had to rank this one the lowest.

53) Darkwing Duck Theme Song
From: Darkwing Duck
Nominated by: Justin_Crossing

Darkwing Duck! I kind of just started watching DD last year, so no nostalgia boost here. It's just a pretty darn good theme song. Little short, but that's fine.

52) You've Got a Friend in Me
From: Toy Story
Nominated by: cody11533

D'aww this song fills me with so much nostalgia. It's so cheery and sweet and mushy and Randy Newman is pretty awesome.A quick glance tells me this is his highest song. Was there ever any doubt? Such a supurb intro song as a kid when you've still got dat imagination, but even moreso as an adult when you've still got fond memories of having dat imagination!

51) When You Wish Upon a Star
From: Pinocchio
Nominated by: BrettEagles

It's the Disney anthem (either this or "It's a Small World") and it plays at the beginning of most Disney films during the opening sequence- kind of like Fiona's Song and Dreamworks. Anyway, it's sweet, slow (but not boring) and iconic. It's a classic basically! It aged better than some of the other old-timey numbers imo, and Raka's ranking was like, criminally low. Btw, I tried to find the scene, but I couldn't.

HM #6 Do Re Mi aka Doe A Deer
From: The Sound of Music

Warning: This was recorded at a high volume! Don't let it catch you off guard!

You'd be surprised how many people think The Sound of Music is Disney okay it was probably just me whatever. Love this song! Actually love every song from this movie, but this one most of all!

Nah, I seem to be the only one that loves it, despite the awkward pause.

No to Carpe Diem, sorry.

Btw, how's my pace guys? Too fast, too slow, just fine?
