I like running yorick mid and just dominating opposing mids. He can zone most APs and just freeze the lane at his turret.

But yeah the damage out put with Chalice and Warmogs is hilarious.

Against AD TF?

Start Cloth Armor and 5 Pots. Play safely until level 6 and just farm at your turret---it's something Cho'Gath does really well.

The most important thing to remember about Cho'Gath is that, much like Singed, they are weak early laners until they get their Ultimates.

Once Cho'Gath gets 6 stacks pushing him out of lane becomes nearly impossible. He can just trade auto attacks with you and then go heal himself off minions.

It's not a nerf JC. It goes into cooldown even while in flight. Assuming you pull off an instant detonation at point blank range, its effective CD is 9.

40 flat reduction is NOT worthless. It means bruisers don't even hurt you, and IIRC it is applied after everything else to boot. So say you cut an incoming attack's damage in half to 100. Now, it does 60. This is *huge* for mitigation.

I'm not sure who I was playing with earlier, but my battery died in the middle of the game and my computer wouldn't boot up properly for a bit after that, so I apologize for having disconnected and not returned.

It's cool, we even managed somehow anyway =D. Took way longer than it would have with you around, though. It's too bad you weren't able to come back.

Also, I now notice that the game no longer sends out a message when someone DCs, so that's a good feature.

Chaotic keep working on your Sona, mainly the whole "not taking kills part".

Great supports make or break bottom lane. You can turn a decent carry into a good one by being a great support. Things you should work on:

1.Knowing matchups. Knowing when you can be aggressive and when to be passive is huge. If you're Sona/Trist vs. a passive land like Soraka/Kog then know you can mass murder them. Poke them every last hit and force them out of lane or to zone themselves. On the other hand, if you're against something like Alistar/Graves then know you have to play passive because the burst is too much.

2.Know when a good time for Oracles is. An early Oracles can really help bottom lane snowball. If the enemy knows they have no wards they know they can't be aggressive. This forces them into mistakes and bad plays.

3.Know when to use Sona's ult. That thing is game-breaking. You want to use it early but never on just one person. Try to catch 3 people in it because no other support can do what you do. You add an ultimate that is AP Carry worthy to the team and its power is immense.

I know you run AP Fizz but perhaps you know a solid build.

I did Malady/Phage/Giant's Belt(they surrendered before I finished) and I felt like I was doing solid damage.

Someone mentioned going Rod of Ages and then Atma's and Wit's like the Bybrid Cho build.

I don't see the point in build Fizz tanky dps.

Lich Bane + Guardian Angel pretty much makes him as tanky as he needs to be. Against an AP carry, your E can be used to dodge their strongest spells. Bruisers won't kill you faster then you kill them (unless they're more fed, in which case you shouldn't be 1v1ing them). And you will kill an AD carry faster than they kill you.

In a team fight, you rush in, smack them quickly, then bounce away. Once cooldowns finish, you can repeat the process. Guardian Angel just ensures that, if you get caught and killed in a team fight, you have another round of cooldowns to lay on them, and possibly giving you an escape with another E use.

The only real advantage being tanky dps would offer you is having you use your E offensively more often than usual, at least that I can think of off the top of my head.
