I'm at lv 29 now... before I can make it to ranked, can someone teach me when is a right time to gank from mid or from jungling if I ever jungle...

Only time I mid is when my team needs one as well.

Yeah, I don't enjoy going mid. I feel like it's probably the best place from which to pubstomp, though.

I think, if you can make your opponent go back (from bursting him from high) then quickly push your lane and run bottom or top (if one of them is pushed to your team's tower), it might be a good idea.

But take that with less than a grain of salt, because I tend to never play in a lane that leaves for ganks.

Protip: If you suck a good way to get better is playing with people better than you so they can notice stuff you do wrong. I am one of the four best players on board 8 and red/fd still constantly are able to point out stuff I do wrong so I can improve myself, and I am grateful to have them around for it.

That's why I enjoyed playing with you guys, you especially since you're completely unflinching with criticism, and I don't get particularly mad or frustrated when you yell because I know you know better than I do :P

In other news, I think I really like jungle yi. If I want to start doing that often, what other junglers should I watch out for and why? As in, who should scare me? And since he has zero cc I know I should only use him when at least two of my lanes have some good cc. But he is very fun.

I feel like every time I face something I don't understand, I feed or get carried.

I lost lane horribly to Urgot as Gangplank. I've never faced Urgot before and he just destroyed me without even trying. I only took solace in the fact that Urgot's late game is non-existent and dealt with it.

Then I faced an Orianna/Soraka bot lane and got zoned the hell out all game. Luckily, they were garbage and got devoured by our Mundo, but I felt like I couldn't do anything of consequence to them.

I'm too concerned with the way things should be that I can't deal with anything that doesn't fit.

That's the thing Sytha: I haven't had a DC in months. Until I play with you lol.

That first game with you as Malphite and me as Shen was great. Entire game turned around on that 2 vs. 3 in their jungle that I ult'd into to kill shaco while you kited Morgans Shen and Shaco. How we managed to 3 for 0 was hilarious.

Awesome, Mana! I love having long win streaks. The longest winning streak I've ever had was 12. Before that streak, my win/loss spread was -11, so that streak single-handedly pushed my ratio into the positive range. And I agree with you, I'd like it if they implemented the individual character win/loss feature for normal games some time in the future.

Sounds good for me realo! I'm currently home for the weekend, though, and my laptop's been having problems connecting to our home's Wi-Fi, so I'll probably play with my desktop computer, and it doesn't have any microphones or anything, so I won't be able to talk on Ventrilo or Skype or anything.

Mana ran support Nunu with Cait and pretty much dominated bottom. Shen had to 2 vs 1 against Irelia/Twitch but LOL ITS SHEN so he never died and I just camped top early. Ziggs lost to Irelia(shocker) but she kept focusing me in Team Fights so we won in a landslide.

- Went Banshee's, Shurelya, then Frost Shield.

- Went Banshee's then pushed towards Frost Shield. Sytha asked why BV and I told him about Snowstorm shielding. We then had a nice twenty minute conversation about champions, Nunu items, Galio, and asking FD about Nunu.

- As Conductor said, ran support Nunu with Cait and pretty much controlled bottom against a Yi and Caitlyn. I'm surprised I only had one death, but I guess I'm remembering the other few games where I made a stupid misclick into their forces. Also, it's not batteries, it's lag or something. They controleld Jungle early on with aggressive Caitlyn play, but some good wards and an excellent Caitlyn teammate... we did well. Yay surrender!

For support nunu I would suggest doing the normal support thing. Start faerie charm + wards + potions. Get your Philo stone, heart of gold and boots up. Then work on semi-tanky and support items.

Your entire purpose is to blood boil the right people, slow the right targets and, occasionally, get off an ult in the right spot.



Earlier today I was playing jungle nunu and building very heavily AP. It was 1400~ ELO games though and so I figured I could get away with it. It isn't the sort of build I would play in a higher level game.


Imo great items for a supportish nunu are things like Shurelya's and Zeke's Herald.

You're already giving your AD carry a crapload of move and attack speed, and so with Zeke's you give them more attack speed and also extra lifesteal making them even more absurd.

As support nunu in lane you should be maxing blood boil. And I would only get 1 level of consume early if you need it. The sustain is nice, but you don't want to take CS from your AD lane mate. But with only 1 level you can consume full HP melee minions or cannon minions without killing them so you get the sustain without taking the kill.




Edit:

It should also be mentioned I guess that a lot of my early early nunu playing was back when red, shoe and I were tearing it up on Twisted Treeline. But I typically built him similar to how support nunu is being built now. The emphasis on doing whatever it took to make my AD unkillable.

You need a champion who can either shrug off her burst or who can exchange damage comparably.

Sion might be a good choice. As long as you are maxing shield and have enough mana regen to support it (start boots and 3 dorans rings?) you should be able to survive well enough in lane. But if you use all your shields to block damage you might have a difficult time farming, so there's that too.

Ideally you want to stop her from establishing an HP foothold and still have some mana leftover.

Atmogs + PD + tank items if you want or not it doesnt really matter what you build at that point = gg

He is a hard snowball, but he gets dominated by a lot of champs up top. I tried it once and lost hard to a gp because screw his q and his w, but come teamfights I was able to do more than him which helped us win the game. Mundo has some intense pre-6 and pre-SV issues.

Mundo is an all or nothing champion if you're going top lane.

He needs ONE major item to be ridiculously good and your job is to get to it as soon as possible.

You can't trade with Mundo. You just can't. His Q does percentage health and his E is the best attack steroid in the game. To top it off he can out sustain anyone this side of Irelia.

You turn your disadvantage(early game) into an advantage by being aggressive.

Once mundo gets Warmogs+Force of Nature+QSS you just can't stop him. The amount of effort and ultimates that go into killing him buries your team.

I've always thought Goddess Tear was a stupid item. The only time Manamune should ever be used is on Ult spamming Kog' Maw and Urgot. That's it.

Chalice+Visage lets me massacre top lane Kennens/Vlads or just go mid if the enemy has Kassadin or Ahri or Leblanc.

The sheer amount of damage that Yorick can do with tank items is absurd.
