You know in the past before we were all babified and feminized it wasnt an uncommon sight to see high school rifle teams at predigious and rural schools alike. hell my school in denver CO had a rifle range and the ROTC kids did live fire drills. this was right after columbine even. That's completely different though lol Those are for teaching purposes and are in a controlled environment (at least they should be lol) I have no problem with guns. I like guns but incedents like this are happening too much and something needs to be done. There isn't a catch all but if you do a lot of little things like a law here and there, whether it's to control mental illness or gun control. You don't know whether somebody is "unsavable" until you try to save them. More importantly, punishments can't bring back the deceased so there's no productive benefit to an eye-for-an-eye approach. It's not really an eye for a eye approach in my opinion. Just some people do things that are so terrible they are beyond redeeming. Just send them on their way to the after life. Let GOD (or whatever deity they are religious of , if any) be the judge of them after. Actions should have consequences and sometimes the consequence is death. Dude killed 17 people mostly kids. As religious and forgiving as I am. There is a line and it was crossed. I feel it should also be the same for people that rape little kids, are serial killers, etc. The people that go to death and are innocent are usually people who get the death penalty for acts that I feel shouldn't have even gotten the death penalty. It really shpuld be for the worse of the worse. But the death penalty is also more expensive then life in prison from what I understand. Legal battles rack up a lot of expenses. So to me you should only want to put people to death that really deserve it. Read a article about a guy who's house caught on fire and it killed his three kids. Was put to the death penalty cause he supposively started the fire, even if he did start the fire. I don't think that is death penalty worthy. Then another dude was falsely accused of stabbing someone to death, the Carlos Deluna case. They legally purchased the guns themselves, and in many cases had documented mental health problems or even criminal histories, but still managed to purchase guns legally. Of the 10 most deadly shootings in America over the past 6 years, 9 were done with guns that were legally purchased by the perpetrator, the only one that was stolen from a relative was for Sandy Hook. None were illegally purchased. Exactly, these people shouldn't have passed the background check. Either the background check failed, the rules aren't strong enough or it was purchased without a background check, thusly making the entire transaction illegal. Stupid HBO cancelled it before the second season even filmed. They were contracted for 2 years and that was it. So they had to rush out an ending. Which sucks terribly because there was sooo much story that could have been told in season 2. One of the few games with a new game plus. You have multiple endings and different ways the story can turn out. Meaning I had to buy a part from them and put it in my self, which would also void the warranty. So besides that pissing me off.
