The product description on the store page only mentions introducing new leaders, so I would take it as no.

If you really want the DLC, you should consider picking up the Deluxe Edition since that comes with all of it (you should double check with this fact though)

The delux edition comes with every dlc up to the expansion rise and fall. You still have to buy rise and fall. It is cheaper to get the deluxe edition the buying the dlc's separately.

I've read that one of the expansions will have an American "leader" named Trimp. Their special ability would be these.

Wall Initiative - It's a plan to build a wall but no wall will ever be built.
Tan Spray - Half of your citizens will now be an orange color.
Divisive Rule - Only 30% of your poulation like your "leader", it takes longer for your population to do anything because they are too busy arguing with each other.
Tweeter - There's an 80% chance that a research will fail because the "leader" sent out a Twit about it and that made half the population upset, thus, ruining the research's chance at succeeding.
Covfefe - No one knows what this is or what it does.

Yeah I doubt the expansion includes DLC. I bought the deluxe edition so I'm cheesin.

I won't buy the expansion til my next few paychecks probably. It looks fucking rad though.

I spawned on a contient with like two civs and by the time I wiped them out I'd met everybody else in the game who was too far away to attack

so now I'm trying to be peacekeeper shaka and nobody likes me ._.

Certain civs work well as peacekeepers. Sumeria and Australia come to mind. Zulus need to be at constant war to make best use of their abilities. That's rarely a peacekeeper kind of thing to do. If you have a mostly isolated start as Zulus, it's time to restart with a Pangaea world.

Pangaea takes a lot of fun out of exploration and settling though

Has anybody played as the Dutch? Their polder ability seems overpowered especially with Auckland in the game

Not on a huge map with extra civs. You get so caught up with your local world that it takes time before you explore further, even past once you can build ships.

I can't dedicate some guys to exploration when I'm fighting off barbarians and my idiot neighbors.
