I did three 12 hour days and had the rest of the week off at one of my past jobs. The catch was that my work days were Friday Saturday Sunday, but worth it IMO.

Almost sounds better than week day working.

Need to go somewhere, less people. Want to go somewhere touristy or whatever? Less people.

If it is nothing but watching people play games no thanks I am not into that sort of thing.

It has things other than games.

You can watch just chatting, people on the beach, people eating food, just about anything you could want to watch live that isn't already produced by a major business (IE pro sports)

Gaming is the bulk of the content though.

With the exception of sports, I dont get why anyones interested in watching things live anymore. On-demand is so much more convenient. And then there always seems to be too much fluff with streamer material, so even when theres a good few minutes here and there, its usually buried in hours of downtime, just random nonsense, and thanking for donations, so that kills my interest in watching/listening to replays of their stuff, too.

I watch streamers that mostly speedrun stuff or play games.

Watching after fact is boring to me becuase there's no interaction and the time commitment of watching a 5 hour speedun is daunting compared to "I'll drop in, chat a while and can leave whenever"

Disney+ lost $5 billion in the past year and quarter. The whole streaming thing is gonna be going downhill because it's not worth the insane costs they pour in. A lot of companies are basically starting to follow in Zaslav's footsteps.

If they had approached it like traditional TV, with standard length seasons and appropriately sized budgets, I think it would've been easier to manage budgets and expectations.

Instead everybody started pouring tens, if not hundreds, of millions into single shows that have like 6-10 episodes.

I think Didney specifically would have benefitted from an option to stream content like Didney Channel does. A Didney selected set of rotations of popular shows that you can throw on when you don't know what you want to watch and if something catches your eye, you have the in-line options to start the episode, or even entire show, from the start.

As is, I feel like there's too much content being blasted to you at once and the choice fatigue sets in.

I only use Didney+ for Star Wars and Marvel, but if I could throw something that Didney chose for me as background noise, I might be more interested opt-in. I understand the strain that could put on their servers though.

I beat the DLC on Ultimate difficulty but I really just wound up cheesing the more difficult fights.

I've watched plenty of streamers daily/every stream, but less so now because internet sucks where I am.

I've even met two twitch streamers and been on one of their live streams. >_> That was over 4 years ago though. Neither stream anymore.

Profit is there. Chasing subs not the issue. If they not making it, they are mis-managing.

Also apparently subs grew in NA and most sub loss was in india afternlosing rights to cricket lol.

Even if we took the old $7.99 price point and assumed everybody paid that much across all subs, that only equates to $1.872 Billion a month. Presume all customers across the entire subscriber base stay subscribed, on average, 3-5 months out of the year and you're only making $5.6B to $9.36B out of the year.

A company the size of Didney can burn through that fairly easily.

Timing is everything.

Besides some early game woes, I didn't really struggle on Jedi Master til the final boss fight.

When enemies turn red, roll away unless they're one hit from dead. It's unblockable and designed for you to dodge instead of block.

Generally though, dodging is easier than blocking. Blocking is so you can counter.

Some enemies it's easier to dodge and hit than nail their counter (especially on Jedi Master).

I've beaten the game on every difficulty, none are actually unfairm. Just takes learning your enemy.

Also for certain enemies, it's better to run in and jump slash for a fast dispatch than trying to engage them upfront.

For an entire state? No.

I haven't spent a dime of my own money paying for college classes though and I'm just a couple classes short of an associates degree

Last time I played New Vegas, I played it with a mod set Viva New/Las(?) Vegas and I just didn't get as nearly into the game as I had the handful of times I had before.

It's far from a bad game, but idk if you could remake it in a way that appeals to modern sensibilities without pissing off the Super die hards.

If you want to play the game with updated graphics and some gameplay tweaks, there's more than enough mods out there to make the game into something better than a Bethesda remake would give us
