I work 4 ten hour shifts a week. No weekends or Wednesdays.

I think this should be the norm for everyone. Working 2 days before a break is SO much better than 5. People are overworked and snap way too often. With 2 days on, 1 day off, 2 on then 2 offI hardly feel like Im working.

I dont think I could ever work 5 days in a row again.

I did three 12 hour days and had the rest of the week off at one of my past jobs. The catch was that my work days were Friday Saturday Sunday, but worth it IMO.

Its been my day off for a decade and Im never giving it up.

yep Im permanent work from home, but have the option to go into the office whenever I want. My coworkers go in on some Tuesdays/Thursdays but its never required

I also four 10's with Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays off and absolutely love it. It's so nice to go to the store or an appointment midweek, and traffic is much better going to work on the weekends

thats not bad but I wouldnt wanna work weekends anymore at this point

that was the schedule I had at first with this job. Having permanent 3 day weekends is nice, especially if you wanna travel or go on trips/out of town.

splitting up the 4 days is great too

I would like to work 4 10-hour days, but alas state jobs are stuck with 7:45-4:30 hours :<

I used to have Wednesday off, but I recently switched. Now I have Thursdays and Fridays off. Which is great because I go do stuff on Thursday which is still a workday for most people, plus I get the first night of the weekend off.

I too am a Wednesday-off, brother.

I prefer shorter days more spread out. Regularly putting in a 10 hour day sounds awful. Rather do like 6 x 6.5. Then i can do things all of those days

10 hours is easy honestly. Especially since my hours are 5:30-3:30

People act like mondays are bad but wednesday is by far the most aids day of the week.

Mondays are only bad becsuse its coming off the only 2 days a week youre free after working 5 straight

this is why Wednesdays should be off for everyone

I'm on the 5-4-9 schedule.
9 hour days with every other Friday off.

Almost sounds better than week day working.

Need to go somewhere, less people. Want to go somewhere touristy or whatever? Less people.

I'd sign up for Four 10-hour workdays with a weekday off, but I work for a wholesaler that supplies retail stores, and there's zero chance we'd ever close on a weekday.

Wouldnt want to work ten hour days. Feels like the whole day is a wash then. Only thing you have time for is to watch sleep, and drive to work

Really depends on what the shift is.

Right now I work a "normal" 9-5:30. If that switched to, say, 7:30-6, not much would change for me.

I'm already up at 6:45 to make sure my kids get off to school on time, and it would only add a half hour to the end of my day.

Now, if it was switched to 9-7:30 to cover our west coast customers, then that would be different. Not getting home till 8:00 would suck.

Same. I've had Fri-Sun off for 5yrs now.

My dad always worked Friday Saturday Sunday for the last 25 years. Hed work 7am-10pm on weekends, then 3pm-10pm Mondays.

and then hed do absolutely nothing on Tuesday through Friday heh

Its probably my because you still have full weekends off

my fiances normal days off are Sunday and Wednesday, and its ass

Im a grown ass adult and waking up at 5:15am is easy. Try it sometime

Weekends off are the best days to have imo.

But I think every job need to give 3 days off and stop overworking people to death with only 2 days off.

Agreed. The 4 day work week is fantastic and would help with everyones mental health

Same. I've had Fri-Sun off for 5yrs now.

I did as well, until a couple months ago when they spread out the workload to 5 daysa lot of people ended up quitting because they took away the main incentive that people hired in in the first place

Fridays havent been too bad, in at 2:30pm, my zone is usually done between 8-9pm..so really 4 1/2 days..been able to salvage Friday nights to go out
