A movie is about 2 hours of entertainment.
In a theatre that is about $10 per person.
New rental $5
Old rental 1-3
5-25 to buy.

Comparatively games 60 dollars new. Most games are 30+ hours of entertainment.

It is a bigger up front cost, but a game with good replay value will be cost effective.

That said compare it to other hobbies some of which even have a negative cost from selling or saving by not buying other things and it is not a cheap hobby either.

I usually don't side with the cops and I don't like them playing judge jury and executioner, but she started a chase and rammed their car. The initial call of a shooting being accurate I can't say I blame the cops in this case.

It can happen. The most common reason would be a sibling getting a younger sibling out of a bad house or if the parents died. But if an aunt or uncle came forward wanting to adopt instead it gets trickier. Because then you have to argue who would be the better parent.

It is a thing of culture, to be sure, but also quite tedious. The greatest ballet I bore witness to involved an officer dancing about in tutu. Alas, the strain was too much for his overweight and aged heart, so he collapsed and died. It was a tragic end to a comedic moment.

I just picked up one orchestra pit tickets to the Russian national ballet's performance of Giselle. Never been to a ballet before but thought it would be a fun experience.

Is there anything I should know about going into it? Also they have a wine and whiskey tasting before the show for an extra $25 per person. Would something like that be worth it?

What? How am I saying that at all? I'm saying with a black model it could be argued that they are using a black person to advertise a black super hero like it is something they are aloud to enjoy while whites have different heroes.

A white model gets us the current backlash. A black model would have been safer. But using 2 models would have avoided it all together. I have seen shirts with multiple models online before.no reason they couldn't do it here.

A lot of people do. Some people around here think it's weird to have conversations with people you talk to on the phone. Says a lot about how personable they are. As in, not at all.

Talking on the phone is annoying as hell why would anyone want to do it? But ya I'm not personable at all.

Neither am I, I have said I don't want to date anyone, but I haven't specifically said I don't want to date her. I think the coworker who keeps hitting on customer's told her I like her. He seems to think all men are trying to hit on all women.

So I am pretty confident one of my co-workers is pretty into me. We get along great at work, make each other laugh, help each other out, she is a couple years older with a daughter, but she is still really cute.

Lately she has been acting a bit weird and bringing up some odd conversations.

First she starts commenting on how a new coworker hits on women and asks why I don't do stuff like that, then a little while later she asks what I would do if someone made comments on my looks at work, next she asks me about how I would react to someone grabbing my butt. After that she tells my best friend in a text that my ass looks delicious. She apologized to me repeatedly for it and I'm not sure what she is apologizing for at this point since I haven't seen the message yet. When she finds out my friend didn't tell me about the message she goes out of her way to show me the text. I laughed it off, but then today she texts me and wants to make sure I wasn't offended by it because she wasn't joking.

So far I have been kind of playing dumb, but I don't want a relationship right now. I have a lot in my life I am trying to sort out and I don't think our interests are very compatible. I want to turn her down as gently as I can because she is a great person, but I don't want to be like "hey I think you like me and that's cool but I'm not interested" because that sounds terrible.

When we talked about if I was dating anyone I thought I made it clear that I wasn't looking for anything, but I don't know how much longer I can just play dumb.

Hard to say. I fell asleep next to him last night. So I know he wasn't out all night, but I didn't see him when I woke up but he also did not get out when I left as I watch for him trying to sneak out. It was probably either when my mom or dad were leaving for work or when they got home. Based on the snow tracks I would probably say when they left.

glad he's ok. that would be a nightmare to me. I had a cat that just never came home one day, but he was old. I went out during a storm and looked for him in the woods where he used to hang out. never found him :(

that was like 20 years ago though......

I thought it was weird when he didn't come up and greet me when I got home, but sometimes he is hiding somewhere asleep and doesn't hear me, but when I took a nap and he wasn't there when I woke up I got worried. I called for him, looked in his usual spots, shook a bag of treats, nothing. I got really worried thinking he might have choked on something or got trapped somewhere. I checked the garage to see if he may have snuck out when I came in, but he didn't respond.

Out of desperation I checked the snow for tracks. There were some indents covered by snow around the house. I followed them and found him trying to keep warm under the deck in the backyard on top of one of the kayaks.

God damn cat just about gave me a heart attack.

I tend to dislike most childen's shows but did actually enjoy Sofia the first myself but can't ever forget that for the most part it's just a children's show intended to sell dolls.

But yes I also am confused with how the currency works as well as the food cause in one episode you see them make an entire feast with just a spell.
Also the show says her father is a great king... Still I find it odd that he will spend all those taxes on a 100 layer cake and nobody blinks an eye.

Anyhow the show has ended and i'm 50 episodes behind.

I was about 50 episodes behind, now I am 26 behind. Food is a good one too. I suppose in a place where you can create food from nothing food can be cheaper, but a 100 layer cake still seems like a bit much. Also wouldn't tke kind of destroy much of your economy if you can magic away most of your peasants jobs?

Does enchancia keep magic from the masses so they can just create wealth and distribute it to them for work like a kind of guaranteed income?

Honestly the awesomes is a pretty good show. I'm actually in the middle of rewatching it. A 4th season would have been great. Mother up also died too early. But ya neither had great animation. Never cared for fugget about it.

Gold and jewels are the currency of the land, but the teach small children how to create them with magic in school. But only the royal children. The peasant children don't learn any magic unless they are descended from a magic family. It is not like Royals are just naturally magical either. Sofia learns magic despite being born a commoner. Still if it is easy enough that small children can learn it and anyone can learn it, wouldn't there be at least some people who could learn it and saturate the market?
