I'm not 100% sure I know when the time is which is where the confusion is happening.

Breaking down the formula, impulse = (delta)F * (delta)t.
There isn't an initial force going to the right, during the collision there's a force going to the left, and then no force. So it goes, 0 -> (whatever value) left -> 0
If you choose to read the time right after the collision, you are reading a left force going to 0, which is an impulse to the right.

AvE: A channel about "manly" things (it's the best description I can really think of). Tool breakdowns, repairing, how things work, and basically anything else. A lot of it is what you would see from a really cool maintenance guy. All done in a swearhappy environment for "the back of the class", so there's something for everyone. Even if it's just for random videos about some hilarious tear down of a random thing off the internet.



Polygon: I honestly was skeptical the first time I got into Polygon content, because all of their website is relatively serious stuff about videogames and reviews and everything else. The YouTube channel is just a bunch of funny people dicking around and being dumb. That's really about it, you get the McElroy brothers and just a bunch of really good videos. There's not much else to say, it's just solid content.



Aviators: It's my current music obsession person. It changes every once in a while, and I just like his stuff. There's some videogame stuff, some other stuff, and it's all a nice and relaxing rock music.

There was a lot of pitching, in the form of "Isn't it strange...?", "Doesn't it make you wonder...?", etc. At first, I thought they were using that sort of roundabout nonsense to avoid a libel suit, but the video outright accuses him of cheating in other places.

Seriously, just try and make sure they know that you'll be there for them should they need it and try to include/invite them as much as possible for group events. Even if they turn you down, sometimes the security knowing that someone is thinking about them will be enough to seek help.

Yeah, I'll try and do that. I do have their number as well, so I'll try and keep base during a weekly group meetup.

Basically a person I'm playing DnD with right now, and have known for a few months I just noticed that there are fresh (a few weeks or so) scars on their wrist.
They're a great person and both my gf and I want to help out, but we're not really sure how to go about it.

What is frustrating though is how people only know PnP RPGs as DnD. So if you want to run a superhero game, or a scifi game, or a zombie game, or anything other than Fantasy and Fantasy-related games, people assume that it's DnD. That s*** gets annoying.

I more meant the fact that they'd randomly go from robbing a store to saving it. I'm not sure coordination necessarily contradicts chaos (well, from a DnD standpoint), but I suppose you'd know better in that regard.

Did they do this purely to be an asshole, or was it to entice "chaos" into the system to then be used systematically, or any other reason. Does that matter?

You don't know the correct answer, and nobody else really does. Everyone just keeps arguing point after point until nobody cares. Throughout the editions Alignment has had a few sentences explaining what each alignment is and a basic idea how to RP it, and then a billion rules/spells about how those alignments interact with stuff. It's all completely up to the players/GM for any situation with any sort of subtly.
The last few editions have more or less gotten rid of alignment and just have a token part of it.

What's annoying is that alignment, stats, and the idea of a d20 are one of the things that stuck with the people who don't play DnD, which two of those things have have awful baggage that I wish would go away. The d20 is fine, there are a few people who swear by using 2d10 or 3d6 for their random number generator, but it's not nearly as big as the other stuff.

DnD Expert Opinion: Alignment is awful and can't really be used to describe anyone with even a small amount of character. Also it's vague as f*** so everyone will bitch to their heart's content about what's what so it's not really useful.

That aside, it's say it's Neutral Evil. It's not lawful, because lawful people don't directly break the law. It's not chaotic because there's a bunch of teamwork and practicing that clearly went into it. So you go with the between value.
