I tried applying for internships and jobs all throughout college and couldnt get anything. What better choices should I have made?I hate reading stuff like this. Im finally in college now (and should be done with an Associates by this time next year if I play my cards right). I need to get the hell out of my current job. I make just a little over $15 an hour, and, good lord I deserve so much more. For the amount of shit I have to put up with, the physical strain on my body, the mental anguish... its not enough. I know yOu ShOuLd HaVe GoNe To ScHoOl, and I agree, but for a long time I just simply couldnt afford it. --- These pretzels are making me thirsty! |

Personally, Im looking for the middle ground; I think people spend far too much time working (I know its supposed to be eight hours sleep, eight hours work, eight hours whatever, but that doesnt take into account time it takes to get ready, commute, longer-than-eight-hour days, etc.). The standard work day should be five or six hours (with wages adjusted of course) or three days off should be the norm or SOMEthing. But these pieces of shit that literally do nothing productive and un-ironically use terms like wagie are not good. And shame on the people who enable that lifestyle. --- These pretzels are making me thirsty! |

This obviously wasnt a deal breaker since, really, the only things affected by this are my OG Xbox and my Wii (which, if I have to, I can just use the composite cables). Im just looking for some recommendations on the best way to hook up a component cable to the TV. Is something as simple as using an HDMI adapter the best way? --- These pretzels are making me thirsty! |

I wasnt able to choose (since this is only what my work union offered) but I like taking online courses because I dont have to actually GO anywhere (my full time job keeps me plenty busy, adding having to physically go to a school on top of that would wear me out).
