I know its fun to say oh that job is easy, they dont deserve money but until youve worked in that industry, you have no idea how truly awful and breaking it can be. Its not like these people are asking for a life of luxury. It would be one thing if wages were consistent with inflation. And I know if they want a better life, they should just go to college, but even college is a gamble. And its way too expensive (which another whole can of worms...) so these people might not even be able to go to college (I still believe that one shouldnt completely drown themselves in debt just to better themselves). --- These pretzels are making me thirsty! |

I dont even want to go on like luxurious vacations all the time, but Id love to go to New Zealand and it would be nice to be able to do it while Im still relatively young, but it seems like a very unrealistic goal because of cost and not having the paid time off of work Id like. 2. Not work my life away. For most the past thirteen years Ive been working six days a week and Im tired of it. Im finally taking college courses but I still feel unsure about if Ill actually be able to find something better with just an Associates (and by better I mean no more physical labor and only working five days a week). Plus the idea of starting over in my mid 30s is not appealing. --- These pretzels are making me thirsty! |
